Friday - 01:15

Broncos (+3.5) @ Chargers

Picks ATS:

  • Adam: Broncos
  • Alan: Chargers
  • Jonny: Chargers
  • Neil: Chargers

Moneyline: Chargers 8/13, Broncos 13/10

Straight Up:

  • Adam: Broncos
  • Alan: Chargers
  • Jonny: Chargers
  • Neil: Chargers

Comments: AFC West business - with both extremely well-placed in pursuit of a postseason spot. Denver are on a four-win roll, while the Chargers need to avoid losing three on the bounce. Such a tricky affair; could be a pick 'em for me.

I'll go with the Chargers to make full use of home advantage at SoFi - Alan

Saturday - 18:00

Texans (-1.5) @ Chiefs

Picks ATS:

  • Adam: Chiefs
  • Alan: Texans
  • Jonny: Texans
  • Neil: Texans

Moneyline: Chiefs 11/10, Texans 10/13

Straight Up:

  • Adam: Chiefs
  • Alan: Texans
  • Jonny: Texans
  • Neil: Texans

Comments: This line is heavily skewed by the confirmed high ankle sprain for Patrick Mahomes, which sees him listed as week-to-week but with another game on Christmas Day and the AFC #1 seed almost locked up, the Chiefs may be tempted to give their star man some rest.

In his place would come experienced vet Carson Wentz, who would relish the chance to lead this talented offense. Either way the KC defense will see them be more than competitive, as they look to keep up their momentum towards that unprecedented three-peat.

The Texans have blown hot and cold recently but have already clinched the lousy AFC South division title. CJ Stroud has been a lot less impressive than last year but has looked better in recent weeks. I still don't think it will be enough to beat the Chiefs though, Mahomes or not. - Adam

Saturday - 21:30

Steelers (+5.5) @ Ravens

Picks ATS:

  • Adam: Ravens
  • Alan: Steelers
  • Jonny: Ravens
  • Neil: Steelers

Moneyline: Ravens 4/11, Steelers 11/5

Straight Up:

  • Adam: Ravens
  • Alan: Ravens
  • Jonny: Ravens
  • Neil: Ravens

Comments: An early Christmas cracker for us to enjoy here as the Steelers take on the Ravens.

Pittsburgh fell to the Eagles last week, which there's no shame in, while the Ravens cruised to victory against a sorry New York Giants outfit.

Interestingly, Baltimore have lost to Pittsburgh in each of Lamar Jackson's past four starts, so you'd think this is the time where the Ravens figure them out. I think the Steelers will be the popular pick here but the Ravens are due a win here, in my opinion. - Jonny

Sunday - 18:00

Giants (+9.5) @ Falcons

Picks ATS:

  • Adam: Falcons
  • Alan: Falcons
  • Jonny: Falcons
  • Neil: Falcons

Moneyline: Falcons 1/5, Giants 19/5

Straight Up:

  • Adam: Falcons
  • Alan: Falcons
  • Jonny: Falcons
  • Neil: Falcons

Comments: The Giants are going nowhere in January, while the Falcons need snookers. If Atlanta are to keep those slim hopes alive they need to win this, and of course in theory they should.

Covering 9.5 might be an issue, but if they can't against the dire 2-12 Giants they don't deserve to be in the conversation - Alan

Cardinals (-4.5) @ Panthers

Picks ATS:

  • Adam: Cardinals
  • Alan: Cardinals
  • Jonny: Cardinals
  • Neil: Cardinals

Moneyline: Panthers 7/4, Cardinals 4/9

Straight Up:

  • Adam: Cardinals
  • Alan: Cardinals
  • Jonny: Cardinals
  • Neil: Cardinals

Comments: The Cards still have mathematical prospects of making it to the playoffs but theoretically I guess there's still some kind of chance that one day I'll get a call-up from Thomas Tuchel, several decades beyond my heyday.

With nothing to play for but pride etc the Panthers will either relax and put on a show or metaphorically be on the beach with their feet up. Arizona are surely more convincing - they've won just two on the road though, mind you Carolina have only won two at home.

Not one to get too brave about - a common theme this week - Alan

Lions (-7.5) @ Bears

Picks ATS:

  • Adam: Lions
  • Alan: Bears
  • Jonny: Lions
  • Neil: Lions

Moneyline: Bears 11/4, Lions 2/7

Straight Up:

  • Adam: Lions
  • Alan: Bears
  • Jonny: Lions
  • Neil: Lions

Comments: Injuries are piling up for the Lions on the defensive front, but the offence remains in top form. Jared Goff has averaged 332.7 passing yards and 10 touchdowns in his past three starts - can the Bears slow him down here? Not for me.

The Bears did push the Lions to the limit in Detroit, but I'm expecting the latter to re-assert their place at the top of the NFC standings after a tough loss to Buffalo last week. - Jonny

Titans (+4.5) @ Colts

Picks ATS:

  • Adam: Colts
  • Alan: Colts
  • Jonny: Colts
  • Neil: Colts

Moneyline: Colts 4/9, Titans 9/5

Straight Up:

  • Adam: Colts
  • Alan: Colts
  • Jonny: Colts
  • Neil: Colts

Comments: The Colts have one of those tantalising 'mathematical chances' of progressing to January, but it's another where it might be more likely that we'll be sunbathing in 33c heat at Kempton on Boxing Day, watching the King George.

Indy should at the very least be up for putting on a show for the Lucas Oil faithful and (famous last words alert) might just be a good thing on Sunday - Alan

Rams (-3.5) @ Jets

Picks ATS:

  • Adam: Rams
  • Alan: Rams
  • Jonny: Rams
  • Neil: Rams

Moneyline: Rams 8/15, Jets 6/4

Straight Up:

  • Adam: Rams
  • Alan: Rams
  • Jonny: Rams
  • Neil: Rams

Comments: The Rams have gone from outscoring Buffalo to scoring just enough last week against the Niners.

However, I think the Jets' defence is worse than LA's and can be exposed here. The Rams are also in the midst of a three-game winning streak, not committing a turnover during that time. LA to take this one for me. - Jonny

Eagles (-3.5) @ Commanders

Picks ATS:

  • Adam: Eagles
  • Alan: Commanders
  • Jonny: Eagles
  • Neil: Eagles

Moneyline: Commanders 7/5, Eagles 4/7

Straight Up:

  • Adam: Eagles
  • Alan: Commanders
  • Jonny: Eagles
  • Neil: Eagles

Comments: This NFC East match-up will see the 12-2 Eagles clinch the divisional title should they beat the 9-5 Commanders at Northwest Stadium.

Philly have won 10 straight games, including impressive wins over the Ravens and Steelers. It's just over a month since they beat Washington at home 28-18 and I think we'll see a similar result here - courtesy of Jalen and the Brotherly Shove and of course, Saquon. - Adam

Browns (+7.5) @ Bengals

Picks ATS:

  • Adam: Bengals
  • Alan: Bengals
  • Jonny: Bengals
  • Neil: Browns

Moneyline: Bengals 3/10, Browns 13/5

Straight Up:

  • Adam: Bengals
  • Alan: Bengals
  • Jonny: Bengals
  • Neil: Bengals

Comments: The Bengals have started to heat up in recent weeks as they look to make a play-off push - Joe Burrow has made at least three touchdown passes in six straight games and they have the third-highest scoring offence in the NFL.

The Browns have struggled on the road this season, and come into this game off the back of a turnover-filled loss to Kansas City.

Burrow to keep the Bengals play-off hopes alive here, as Cleveland won't be able to keep up. - Jonny

Sunday - 21:05

Vikings (-3.5) @ Seahawks

Picks ATS:

  • Adam: Vikings
  • Alan: Seahawks
  • Jonny: Vikings
  • Neil: Seahawks

Moneyline: Seahawks 7/5, Vikings 4/7

Straight Up:

  • Adam: Vikings
  • Alan: Seahawks
  • Jonny: Vikings
  • Neil: Seahawks

Comments: I think this line has been heavily influence by Seattle's 30-18 defeat against Green Bay last weekend. It was a strange performance from the Seahawks and not one I expect them to replicate. Form suggests this is a Minnesota win as the Sam Darnold-led outfit are looking like real dark horses for a deep run in January.

Yet, I think Seattle right the ship. This is a pure gut feel pick - Neil

Sunday - 21:25

Patriots (+14.5) @ Bills

Picks ATS:

  • Adam: Bills
  • Alan: Patriots
  • Jonny: Bills
  • Neil: Patriots

Moneyline: Bills 1/10, Patriots 13/2

Straight Up:

  • Adam: Bills
  • Alan: Bills
  • Jonny: Bills
  • Neil: Bills

Comments: Josh Allen is not only playing at an MVP winning level but is doing things we've never seen before in the game. Next up his Bills face a terrible Patriots side that will be hoping to present a banana skin.

The Bills defence has looked very leaky but Drake Maye & Co. don't possess enough firepower to exploit it. I've got a feeling we'll see Allen in full rinse mode yet again. - Adam

Jaguars (+1.5) @ Raiders

Picks ATS:

  • Adam: Jaguars
  • Alan: Raiders
  • Jonny: Jaguars
  • Neil: Raiders

Moneyline: Raiders 5/6, Jaguars 1/1

Straight Up:

  • Adam: Jaguars
  • Alan: Raiders
  • Jonny: Jaguars
  • Neil: Raiders

Comments: This is one I've flip-flopped on. In the office, my boss is in his fantasy semi-final and was talking about picking up Brenton Strange to fill his weak TE spot on his roster. The former Nittany Lion went 11 of 12 for 73 yards receiving last week in his breakout game. I would expect him to be a big part of the offense on Sunday.

Yet I'm going with the home side. I'm not expecting much from either outfit with both sending out backup QBs but when in doubt, take the team playing in front of their own fans - certainly in Christmas week - Neil

49ers (+1.5) @ Dolphins

Picks ATS:

  • Adam: Dolphins
  • Alan: Dolphins
  • Jonny: 49ers
  • Neil: Dolphins

Moneyline: Dolphins 4/5, 49ers 21/20

Straight Up:

  • Adam: Dolphins
  • Alan: Dolphins
  • Jonny: 49ers
  • Neil: Dolphins

Comments: Can I just check? Do the 49ers have a single healthy running back? I think the answer is still no. Give me Miami at home -Neil

Monday - 01:20

Buccaneers (-3.5) @ Cowboys

Picks ATS:

  • Adam: Buccaneers
  • Alan: Buccaneers
  • Jonny: Buccaneers
  • Neil: Cowboys

Moneyline: Cowboys 7/4, Buccaneers 4/9

Straight Up:

  • Adam: Buccaneers
  • Alan: Buccaneers
  • Jonny: Buccaneers
  • Neil: Cowboys

Comments: We all know this season hasn't exactly gone to plan for the Cowboys. They have been a bigger disappointment than Florida State in the college game but with most of their key defensive weapons back, they've looked far more competitive in recent weeks. They still have nothing of note on offense but they can hang around here.

The reason I like them for a shock win? Basically, I don't think Tampa Bay are as good as advertised and Baker Mayfield has a bad game in him. Coming on the back of a fantastic performance last week, I think they believe their own hype and the Cowboys win a low-scorer - Neil

Tuesday - 01:15

Saints (+13.5) @ Packers

Picks ATS:

  • Adam: Packers
  • Alan: Saints
  • Jonny: Saints
  • Neil: Saints

Moneyline: Packers 1/9, Saints 6/1

Straight Up:

  • Adam: Packers
  • Alan: Packers
  • Jonny: Packers
  • Neil: Packers

Comments: 13.5pts is a big number. Like real big. Technically, New Orleans aren't done yet but the playoff predictor gives them a less than 1% chance of making the play-offs. Alvin Kamara's injury status doesn't exactly help as the star Running Back is listed as doubtful for the clash.

The 13.5 has been set because the traders think this is a blow-out but it is hard to ever back a team giving away so many points in professional football. This isn't Alabama playing Mercur where the line is 49.5 and you still think they cover. I like `Green Bay to win but that number is too rich for me - Neil

Season Records:

Against the Spread:

  • Adam – 112-83
  • Alan – 98-97
  • Jonny – 101-94
  • Neil – 90-78

Straight Up:

  • Adam – 133-62
  • Alan – 112-83
  • Jonny – 131-64
  • Neil – 98-70
