Commanders vs Eagles Predictions: Two elite offences on display

Week 11 of the NFL season begins at Lincoln Financial Field, where the Philadelphia Eagles host the Washington Commanders on Thursday night (Friday 01:15, live on Sky Sports Main Event).
The Eagles are riding high on a five-game winning streak, having just dispatched the Cowboys 34-6 last time out, while the Commanders are sitting pretty at 7-3 for the season. Read on for my Commanders vs Eagles prediction, as well as the latest team news and match odds.
Commanders vs Eagles Betting Tips
Team News
DeVonta Smith, Nakobe Dean, Darius Slay, and Dallas Goedert are all expected to be absent for Philly in the early hours of Friday morning, while Bryce Huff and Jordan Mailata could be in line to return here after participating in practice this week.
The Commanders were without Brian Robinson Jr. for the heartbreaking loss to the Steelers last time out, but the running back could recover from his hamstring injury in time for the trip to Philadelphia.
However, Nick Bellore, Marshon Lattimore and Austin Seibert haven't featured in practice this week, therefore they're expected to miss out here.

The Eagles are huge favourites on the moneyline at 8/15, giving them an implied win probability of 65.2%, while the Commanders are 6/4 straight up to claim a win on the road.
The spread is currently set at 3.5, and it's 10/11 for either side to cover.
Saquon Barkley to score a touchdown anytime @ 1/2
Washington have been one of the surprise packages of the season, mainly due to their defence, which is playing well above its talent level, thanks to some great coaching and veteran additions.
However, the Commanders backline has shown vulnerability to running backs in particular, having allowed 1,168 yards to the position - the fifth-highest in the NFL - on top of nine touchdowns.
Therefore, I'm expecting Saquon Barkley to have a field day on Friday morning - he's averaged 111 rushing yards over his last five outings, and scored eight touchdowns against Washington in nine career games.
He looks rejuvenated playing for a winner this season, and I think the Commanders have to somehow slow him down if they want to win this game.

Over 48.5 points @ 10/11
I'm taking the over on the points total here, as this is a battle of two elite offences.
In nine games, Eagles QB Jalen Hurts has completed 164 of 235 passes (69.8 per cent) for 1,976 yards with 12 touchdowns, and Commanders rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels is off to a solid start to his professional career, leading the team in both rushing and passing.
This bet has landed in Washington's two most recent outings, as well as in two of Philly's last three contests. In fact, the over has hit in seven of 10 matches for the Commanders this season.
