Picks ATS:
- Adam: Vikings
- Alan: Vikings
- Jonny: Vikings
- Neil: Vikings
Moneyline: Rams 5/4, Vikings 4/6
Picks Straight Up:
- Adam: Vikings
- Alan: Vikings
- Jonny: Vikings
- Neil: Vikings
Comments: The Vikings will be reeling that their unbeaten record ended last week, however with the pressure of trying to go the season unbeaten now lifted, the Vikings could be freed up to really attack a Rams side that have been inconsistent this season.
I don't think the Rams have the tools to contain Justin Jefferson, and while the Rams will be boosted by the return of Cooper Kupp, Minnesota simply have too much firepower. - Jonny
Sunday - 17:00
Picks ATS:
- Adam: Ravens
- Alan: Ravens
- Jonny: Ravens
- Neil: Ravens
Moneyline: Browns 17/5, Ravens 2/9
Picks Straight Up:
- Adam: Ravens
- Alan: Ravens
- Jonny: Ravens
- Neil: Ravens
Comments: I might have taken the Ravens with a 8.5pt handicap even if their starting QB was done but with DTR now at the helm of an already pretty shoddy offense, I'm taking Baltimore to cover with ease.
Seeing Nick Chubb return gave me some pause for thought but let's be honest, if Cleveland are to keep it close, they need a great performance from their D. They are capable but I like Lamar Jackson and Co. to roll. - Neil
Picks ATS:
- Adam: Lions
- Alan: Titans
- Jonny: Lions
- Neil: Titans
Moneyline: Lions 2/11, Titans 4/1
Picks Straight Up:
- Adam: Lions
- Alan: Lions
- Jonny: Lions
- Neil: Lions
Comments: What a win it was for the Lions last week, and they'll be eager to keep that momentum going.
Even though this is the biggest spread of the week, I can't see anything other than Detroit covering. Jared Goff is on fire right now and his high-powered offence can blow anybody away, as shown by the victory over Minnesota last time out.
The Titans are 1-5 and haven't beaten anyone other than the Tua Tagovailoa-less Miami Dolphins. Lions to cover, and win, with ease. - Jonny
Picks ATS:
- Adam: Texans
- Alan: Colts
- Jonny: Texans
- Neil: Texans
Moneyline: Texans 2/5, Colts 2/1
Picks Straight Up:
- Adam: Texans
- Alan: Colts
- Jonny: Texans
- Neil: Texans
Comments: CJ Stroud had a day to forget against the Packers, going 10-21 for just 86 yards. Joe Mixon kept them in the game in Green Bay and they could easily have won with better clock management. However, their 5-2 record should be improved against the 4-3 Colts, with Anthony Richardson also struggling on the road, registering a 50% completion percentage and 41.8 passer rating in away match-ups. - Adam
Picks ATS:
- Adam: Packers
- Alan: Packers
- Jonny: Packers
- Neil: Packers
Moneyline: Jaguars 9/5, Packers 4/9
Picks Straight Up:
- Adam: Packers
- Alan: Packers
- Jonny: Packers
- Neil: Packers
Comments: The Jags return home against Green Bay this week after an extended stay in London, losing to the Bears and beating the Patriots.
The Packers beat the Texans last week and are 3-1 since Jordan Love returned from a knee injury. Love has 15 touchdown passes already this year but has thrown eight interceptions, which he'll need to clean up before a Week 9 match-up against Detroit.
However, he can afford to throw a pick or two against the Jaguars, who have the second-worst defence in the NFL, and still see the Packers win. - Jonny
Picks ATS:
- Adam: Dolphins
- Alan: Cardinals
- Jonny: Dolphins
- Neil: Cardinals
Moneyline: Dolphins 4/7, Cardinals 7/5
Picks Straight Up:
- Adam: Dolphins
- Alan: Cardinals
- Jonny: Dolphins
- Neil: Cardinals
Comments: Tua Tagovailoa is on course to return following yet another concussion. Whether he should is another debate entirely but if he's healthy, the former Alabama QB makes the Dolphins a relatively potent offense.
The problem I have is trust. How can you expect him to return and be at 100%? The Cardinals are a decent outfit and I think they go on the road as 3.5 pt underdogs and get a close road win straight up - Neil
Picks ATS:
- Adam: Jets
- Alan: Patriots
- Jonny: Jets
- Neil: Jets
Moneyline: Patriots 13/5, Jets 3/10
Picks Straight Up:
- Adam: Jets
- Alan: Jets
- Jonny: Jets
- Neil: Jets
Comments: The Jets look a hot mess right now, registering four straight losses despite moving heaven and earth to provide Aaron Rodgers with his favoured receiving personnel.
However, this matchup against a woeful Patriots couldn't have come at a better time. They are averaging just 60 yards on the rush game in the last two weeks and got battered in London.
Chalk up a win for Rodgers and Davante Adams finally... - Adam
Picks ATS:
- Adam: Buccaneers
- Alan: Buccaneers
- Jonny: Falcons
- Neil: Buccaneers
Moneyline: Buccaneers 6/5, Falcons 7/10
Picks Straight Up:
- Adam: Buccaneers
- Alan: Buccaneers
- Jonny: Falcons
- Neil: Buccaneers
Comments: If Chris Godwin hadn't of dislocated his ankle, I think this line is virtually a pick 'em and Tampa might even be a small favourite. Yet seeing one of my favourite Nittany Lions having his season ended was gut-wrenching.
Yet, despite saying that, going on the road and winning is never easy and these Falcons lost by 20 last week. I'm not sure why they are the betting favourite here. - Neil
Picks ATS:
- Adam: Bengals
- Alan: Eagles
- Jonny: Eagles
- Neil: Eagles
Moneyline: Bengals 4/6, Eagles 5/4
Picks Straight Up:
- Adam: Bengals
- Alan: Eagles
- Jonny: Bengals
- Neil: Eagles
Comments: Just one game after I spoke about one former Penn State great, we get to Saquon Barkley. If you give this guy a crease, he'll blast right through and rampages into the secondary. 176 yards on 17 carries last week was another fine outing and Philly need him to be explosive as their passing attack is still trying to find its rhythm.
The Eagles are the road dogs here but it feels like the perfect moment for them to remind the league that they are one of the better teams in the NFC. Third straight-up underdog pick to win from me. - Neil
Sunday - 20:05
Picks ATS:
- Adam: Chargers
- Alan: Saints
- Jonny: Saints
- Neil: Chargers
Moneyline: Chargers 3/10, Saints 13/5
Picks Straight Up:
- Adam: Chargers
- Alan: Chargers
- Jonny: Saints
- Neil: Chargers
Comments: We are making these picks on Wednesday morning and I'm going to presume Derek Carr is inactive. If he plays, then I might lean the other way but that is how I'm looking at this game. If Carr doesn't go, then boy, Spencer Rattler is not the answer. Chris Olave and Taysom Hill are also injury doubts and if none of them play, this one could get ugly. - Neil
Picks ATS:
- Adam: Bills
- Alan: Seahawks
- Jonny: Bills
- Neil: Bills
Moneyline: Seahawks 7/5, Bills 4/7
Picks Straight Up:
- Adam: Bills
- Alan: Seahawks
- Jonny: Bills
- Neil: Bills
Comments: The 5-3 Bills have started to click into gear in recent weeks, with Josh Allen playing some clean football, throwing 12 TD passes and zero interceptions. Geno Smith is leading the lead in pass yards but is only eight and six in the two above metrics, showing there is a clear fallibility to his game.
The Seahawks will be looking to improve on their 4-3 record in their own back yard but they will find a much tougher opposition than last week's Falcons in front of them. Buffalo win - Adam
Sunday - 20:25
Picks ATS:
- Adam: Commanders
- Alan: Commanders
- Jonny: Bears
- Neil: Commanders
Moneyline: Commanders 21/20, Bears 4/5
Picks Straight Up:
- Adam: Commanders
- Alan: Commanders
- Jonny: Bears
- Neil: Commanders
Comments: If Jayden Daniels is passed fit following his rib injury, this could be a superb looking NFC match up between the No.1 and No.2 picks in the NFL Draft.
Caleb Williams has been impressive if unspectacular so far to lead Chicago to a 4-2 record and Daniels has been imperious taking Washington to 5-2. Marcus Mariota looked competent enough when subbed on last week but early signs look like Daniels should line up.
I'm taking him to lead the Commanders to a tidy win. - Adam
Picks ATS:
- Adam: Broncos
- Alan: Panthers
- Jonny: Broncos
- Neil: Broncos
Moneyline: Broncos 2/9, Panthers 17/5
Picks Straight Up:
- Adam: Broncos
- Alan: Broncos
- Jonny: Broncos
- Neil: Broncos
Comments: The 1-6 Panthers are officially the worst team in the league with a minus-133 point differential and have suffered three road blowouts by an average of 32 points. It's not gonna get any easier for Andy Dalton & Co. who travel to Mile High against a solid looking Broncos outfit.
Denver are 4-3 under Bo Nix and running back Javonte Williams should get plenty of ball here to add to his brace last weekend. This one could get ugly for Carolina. - Adam
Picks ATS:
- Adam: Raiders
- Alan: Chiefs
- Jonny: Chiefs
- Neil: Raiders
Moneyline: Raiders 18/5, Chiefs 1/5
Picks Straight Up:
- Adam: Chiefs
- Alan: Chiefs
- Jonny: Chiefs
- Neil: Chiefs
Comments: Kansas City are 6-0 and Las Vegas are 2-5 yet this is a divisional game so that has to be taken into account. The Chiefs have a perfect record but they've only out-scored their opponents by 43 points in those six victories. They simply are doing enough to win without blowing teams away.
Vegas will be turning back to Gardner Minshew once more after Aidan O'Connell broke his thumb and I think they'll keep it close. 9.5pts is a big spread and the home team have every opportunity to cover, even if I think their chances of winning are remote - Neil
Monday - 00:20
Picks ATS:
- Adam: 49ers
- Alan: 49ers
- Jonny: Cowboys
- Neil: 49ers
Moneyline: 49ers 4/9, Cowboys 9/5
Picks Straight Up:
- Adam: 49ers
- Alan: 49ers
- Jonny: 49ers
- Neil: 49ers
Comments: The Niners will have manufacture a different kind of offence after Brandon Aiyuk's season-ending injury, while Christian McCaffrey remains in the treatment room.
Jordan Mason can help with the running game but Brock Purdy will have to be sharper to run the Niners' attack. San Francisco have beaten Dallas in their last three match-ups, so I think they can claim another victory here, but I fancy the Cowboys to keep this one close, and cover the spread. - Jonny
Tuesday - 00:15
Picks ATS:
- Adam: Steelers
- Alan: Steelers
- Jonny: Steelers
- Neil: Steelers
Moneyline: Steelers 1/3, Giants 23/10
Picks Straight Up:
- Adam: Steelers
- Alan: Steelers
- Jonny: Steelers
- Neil: Steelers
Comments: The Giants are an offensive mess at the moment, with Daniel Jones failing to impress, and he doesn't have much support in the running game.
The Steelers have put up 30+ points in back-to-back games and limited opponents to 15 or fewer points in those contests. Unless the Giants can force Russell Wilson into turnovers, it’s hard to see this one turning out well for Big Blue. - Jonny
Season Records:
Against the Spread:
- Adam – 50-41
- Alan – 46-45
- Jonny – 48-43
- Neil – 50-41
Straight Up:
- Adam –56-35
- Alan – 48-43
- Jonny – 56-35
- Neil – 45-46
