Thursday - 17:30

Bears (+9.5) @ Lions

Picks ATS:

  • Adam: Lions
  • Alan: Lions
  • Jonny: Lions
  • Neil: Lions

Moneyline: Lions 2/11, Bears 4/1

Picks Straight Up:

  • Adam: Lions
  • Alan: Lions
  • Jonny: Lions
  • Neil: Lions

Comments: The Lions are the hottest team in the NFL and have a share of the best record along with the Chiefs.

The Week 12 victory over the Colts made it nine-straight wins for Detroit, while the Bears are in free fall following a 3-2 start to the season.

The Lions are relentless and I'd be hugely surprised if they didn't cruise to a double-digit victory here. - Jonny

Thursday - 21:30

Giants (+3.5) @ Cowboys

Picks ATS:

  • Adam: Cowboys
  • Alan: Cowboys
  • Jonny: Cowboys
  • Neil: Cowboys

Moneyline: Cowboys 1/2, Giants 13/8

Picks Straight Up:

  • Adam: Cowboys
  • Alan: Cowboys
  • Jonny: Cowboys
  • Neil: Cowboys

Comments: To say the Giants are a mess is putting it lightly. They marked the post-Daniel Jones era with another defeat last week.

The Cowboys picked up a crucial victory against the Commanders last week, snapping a five-game losing streak, and should find more joy here and claim back-to-back wins for just the second time this season. - Jonny

Friday - 01:20

Dolphins (+3.5) @ Packers

Picks ATS:

  • Adam: Packers
  • Alan: Packers
  • Jonny: Packers
  • Neil: Dolphins

Moneyline: Packers 4/7, Dolphins 7/5

Picks Straight Up:

  • Adam: Packers
  • Alan: Packers
  • Jonny: Packers
  • Neil: Dolphins

Comments: Lots of logic here suggests to take the home team but I'm rolling the dice a bit. Miami beat up on a pretty darn poor New England side last week and we shouldn't take too much from that. Seeing Tua Tagovailoa go 29 of 40 for four touchdowns and 317 yards through the air however, it certainly worth noting. The former Alabama QB has shown that if healthy, he is a good NFL QB. I think this might be one of those surprise upset games - Neil

Friday - 20:00

Raiders (+12.5) @ Chiefs

Picks ATS:

  • Adam: Chiefs
  • Alan: Raiders
  • Jonny: Chiefs
  • Neil: Raiders

Moneyline: Chiefs 2/13, Raiders 9/2

Picks Straight Up:

  • Adam: Chiefs
  • Alan: Chiefs
  • Jonny: Chiefs
  • Neil: Chiefs

Comments: It's been said before (by me at any rate, frequently), but these huge spreads are just 'orrible.

The Chiefs are doing what the Chiefs generally do these days. After that little flurry a few years back of sensational offense, when Tyreek was still in the fold, and folks said the D wasn't good enough for a Lombardi; in recent years they've reinvented themselves as a far more pragmatic, less explosive outfit, with a sterner rear-guard who just know how to get it done. Especially in the big one.

Forget that loss to the Bills - Josh Allen can beat anyone, like Lamar Jackson. KC will make another bold SB bid no doubt, with the aforementioned QB duo having plenty to say about it in potential postseason AFC opposition.

They'll surely win this however, and I'm taking a chance that they won't cover - but very little of my hard-earned will be involved - Alan

Sunday - 18:00

Chargers (-1.5) @ Falcons

Picks ATS:

  • Adam: Chargers
  • Alan: Chargers
  • Jonny: Chargers
  • Neil: Falcons

Moneyline: Falcons 11/10, Chargers 10/13

Picks Straight Up:

  • Adam: Chargers
  • Alan: Chargers
  • Jonny: Chargers
  • Neil: Falcons

Comments: The trickiest contest in Count Cunning's bag of riddles this week - for me at least. Virtually a pick 'em, with the Falcons enjoying home field, but also 'enjoying' a leakier D.

The Chargers are in steadier form for me and a recent fabulous run was only interrupted by the Ravens, and Mr force-of-nature Jackson. They can resume winning ways - Alan

Steelers (+2.5) @ Bengals

Picks ATS:

  • Adam: Steelers
  • Alan: Bengals
  • Jonny: Bengals
  • Neil: Bengals

Moneyline: Bengals 8/13, Steelers 13/10

Picks Straight Up:

  • Adam: Steelers
  • Alan: Bengals
  • Jonny: Bengals
  • Neil: Bengals

Comments: I was bemoaning the fact last week that I wasn't giving enough love to the Steelers, and they promptly reminded me precisely why by losing to the Browns.

Another AFC opponent now in the shape of the Bengals, who after a dreadful start have shown they're still capable, albeit in snatches. I'm hoping I'm right, and it's time to step up - Alan

Texans (-4.5) @ Jaguars

Picks ATS:

  • Adam: Texans
  • Alan: Texans
  • Jonny: Texans
  • Neil: Texans

Moneyline: Jaguars 9/5, Texans 4/9

Picks Straight Up:

  • Adam: Texans
  • Alan: Texans
  • Jonny: Texans
  • Neil: Texans

Comments: The Lions are a very very good team but anytime they are beating a team by 46, you have to wonder what is going on across the field on the opposite sideline. The Jags took a 52-6 shellacking last time out in a game where the scoreline really doesn't lie. Jacksonville have very little talent on either side of the ball and a demoralised squad are surely just playing out time until the head coach is given the old heave ho. This might be a division game but I like Houston to cruise here - Neil

Cardinals (+3.5) @ Vikings

Picks ATS:

  • Adam: Vikings
  • Alan: Vikings
  • Jonny: Vikings
  • Neil: Cardinals

Moneyline: Vikings 8/15, Cardinals 6/4

Picks Straight Up:

  • Adam: Vikings
  • Alan: Vikings
  • Jonny: Vikings
  • Neil: Cardinals

Comments: I'm not getting off the Arizona Bandwagon just yet and whilst their defeat to Seattle last week is undoubtedly a concern, I still like what they have on both sides of the ball. They did keep the Seahawks down to just 16 points and Trey McBride had a cracking day (which was great on my fantasy bench).

Minnesota saw Jordan Addison have his best outing of the year (also on my fantasy bench) as he overshadowed Jordan Jefferson in output. Both are good teams but I just like the Cardinals - Neil

Colts (-2.5) @ Patriots

Picks ATS:

  • Adam: Colts
  • Alan: Colts
  • Jonny: Patriots
  • Neil: Colts

Moneyline: Patriots 5/4, Colts 4/6

Picks Straight Up:

  • Adam: Colts
  • Alan: Colts
  • Jonny: Colts
  • Neil: Colts

Comments: Those of you with longer memories will recall this was once one of THE clashes of the season. Peyton Manning would be rocking up to Gillette to attempt to put that upstart Brady back in his box, probably in the snow. How times have changed.

Tom12 and Bill Belichick are long (ish) gone, the Pats now prop up the East instead of dominating it, and the Colts are a middling outfit with more losses than wins on the season's ledger.

Colts are more persuasive, though they've not persuaded me about much all campaign. QB Anthony Richardson has been a huge disappointment because so, so much was expected - by me at least. Maybe next season we'll see the best of him - Alan

Seahawks (-1.5) @ Jets

Picks ATS:

  • Adam: Seahawks
  • Alan: Seahawks
  • Jonny: Seahawks
  • Neil: Seahawks

Moneyline: Jets 11/10, Seahawks 10/13

Picks Straight Up:

  • Adam: Seahawks
  • Alan: Seahawks
  • Jonny: Seahawks
  • Neil: Seahawks

Comments: How are the J-E-T-S only getting one-and-a-half here? They aren't any good whereas Seattle are a playoff contender. The cross-country journey concerns me I will admit but I'm not sure how you can trust Aaron Rodgers and co unless they are playing a proper basement dweller - Neil

Titans (+5.5) @ Commanders

Picks ATS:

  • Adam: Commanders
  • Alan: Commanders
  • Jonny: Titans
  • Neil: Titans

Moneyline: Commanders 2/5, Titans 2/1

Picks Straight Up:

  • Adam: Commanders
  • Alan: Commanders
  • Jonny: Commanders
  • Neil: Commanders

Comments: Washington must still be in shock after a terrible loss to the Cowboys last week, including a frankly insane fourth quarter, where 41 points were scored.

After Terry McLaurin's 86-yard TD looked to have taken it to OT, Austin Seibert missed the PAT and the game was done, meaning three straight losses for Jayden Daniels & Co.

Meanwhile the Titans wrapped up a surprising win over the Texans and QB Will Levis looks to be growing slowly into the role despite boasting a 3-8 record.

However, I still think the Commanders can put last week behind them and cover the spread here. - Adam

Sunday - 21:05

Buccaneers (-5.5) @ Panthers

Picks ATS:

  • Adam: Panthers
  • Alan: Panthers
  • Jonny: Buccaneers
  • Neil: Buccaneers

Moneyline: Panthers 2/1, Buccaneers 2/5

Picks Straight Up:

  • Adam: Buccaneers
  • Alan: Buccaneers
  • Jonny: Buccaneers
  • Neil: Buccaneers

Comments: The Panthers went oh-so-close to the shock of the season against the Chiefs, in what was probably Bryce Young's best game thus far for the club. The second-year QB looked confident and accurate as he regularly drove the ball down the field against the reigning Super Bowl Champs.

However, they come up here against a well rested Bucs side coming off a bye week and with Baker Mayfield impressive on the road this season - going 3-2 S/U, with the two losses both in overtime. Tampa for me - Adam

Rams (-2.5) @ Saints

Picks ATS:

  • Adam: Saints
  • Alan: Saints
  • Jonny: Rams
  • Neil: Rams

Moneyline: Saints 13/10, Rams 8/13

Picks Straight Up:

  • Adam: Saints
  • Alan: Saints
  • Jonny: Rams
  • Neil: Rams

Comments:  Two sides on the fringes of the playoffs in competitive divisions face-off on Sunday, with defeat making it likely their season will be pretty much over.

The Saints have won two straight under new interim boss Darren Rizzi and are coming off a bye week. Meanwhile, the Rams are on the back of a bit of a shellacking from the Eagles and have to try get back on track.

I'm taking the Saints to win in front of their home fans here, with the RizziBall mania marching on. - Adam

Sunday - 21:25

Eagles (+3.5) @ Ravens

Picks ATS:

  • Adam: Eagles
  • Alan: Ravens
  • Jonny: Eagles
  • Neil: Eagles

Moneyline: Ravens 8/13, Eagles 13/10

Picks Straight Up:

  • Adam: Eagles
  • Alan: Ravens
  • Jonny: Eagles
  • Neil: Eagles

Comments: Game of the week for me, personally.

Saquon Barkley and Jalen Hurts are surging as a dynamic duo at just the right time, and the match-up against Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry here looks set to be a fascinating one.

The Eagles are in better form, winning their last seven, so that's who I'm siding with. - Jonny

Monday - 01:20

49ers (+6.5) @ Bills

Picks ATS:

  • Adam: Bills
  • Alan: Bills
  • Jonny: Bills
  • Neil: Bills

Moneyline: Bills 3/10, 49ers 13/5

Picks Straight Up:

  • Adam: Bills
  • Alan: Bills
  • Jonny: Bills
  • Neil: Bills

Comments: Injuries have become a constant theme of the 49ers' season, but the Bills will have little sympathy here.

Coming off a bye week, Josh Allen can keep thriving as the Bills' defence takes care of the rest against an injury-plagued Niners outfit.

Brock Purdy could return but I don't think that'll be enough to change San Francisco's fortunes. - Jonny

Tuesday - 01:15

Browns (+5.5) @ Broncos

Picks ATS:

  • Adam: Broncos
  • Alan: Browns
  • Jonny: Broncos
  • Neil: Browns

Moneyline: Broncos 2/5, Browns 2/1

Picks Straight Up:

  • Adam: Broncos
  • Alan: Browns
  • Jonny: Broncos
  • Neil: Broncos

Comments: Last but not least, we have the Monday Night Football game from Mile High Stadium, where the 7-5 Broncos host the 3-8 Browns.

Denver have been impressive in recent weeks, as has rookie QB Bo Nix, who hasn't allowed a turnover in the last three games. However, he will have ace sack-specialist Myles Garrett on his case here, which will certainly make his life more difficult.

The Browns simply don't look to have enough on offense but their defense will keep it close. I'm still taking Broncos to cover though. - Adam

Season Records:

Against the Spread:

  • Adam – 92-71
  • Alan – 82-81
  • Jonny – 82-81
  • Neil – 74-62

Straight Up:

  • Adam – 106-57
  • Alan – 92-71
  • Jonny – 106-57
  • Neil – 77-59
