Week 12 NFL Picks & Predictions:

Thursday - 17:30:

Game 1: Packers (+7.5) @ Lions

Picks ATS:

  • Adam: Lions
  • Alan: Packers
  • Jonny: Lions
  • Neil: Lions

Money Line - Lions 2/7 & Packers 11/4

Picks Straight Up:

  • Adam: Lions
  • Alan: Lions
  • Jonny: Lions
  • Neil: Lions

Comments:

As far as seasonal records thus far goes, the 8-2 Lions entertain the 4-6 Packers. Detroit still harbour Super Bowl hopes – they’re just 12/1 to lift the Lombardi – while Green Bay must defy odds of 250/1 if THEY are to prevail in February.

The Lions put 31 points on the Bears at weekend, and on an admittedly swift turnaround can deal with the Pack, who perhaps surprisingly edged the Chargers. I’m thinking a narrow success for Detroit - Alan

Thursday - 21:30:

Game 2: Commanders (+10.5) @ Cowboys

Picks ATS:

  • Adam: Cowboys
  • Alan: Cowboys
  • Jonny: Cowboys
  • Neil: Commanders

Money Line: Cowboys 2/11 & Commanders 4/1

Picks Straight Up:

  • Adam: Cowboys
  • Alan: Cowboys
  • Jonny: Cowboys
  • Neil: Cowboys

Comments: It wouldn't be Thanksgiving without 'America's Team' being in action.

The Panthers held on for as long as they could against Dallas last time out, but the Cowboys proved to be too dominant. The Commanders look to be all over the place at the moment, so it's unsurprising to see the Cowboys as favourites here.

Another dominant Dallas win is on the cards, for me. - Jonny

Friday - 01:20:

Game 3: 49ers (-7.5) @ Seahawks

Picks ATS:

  • Adam: 49ers
  • Alan: Seahawks
  • Jonny: 49ers
  • Neil: Seahawks

Money Line: 49ers 3/10 & Seahawks 13/5

Picks Straight Up:

  • Adam: 49ers
  • Alan: 49ers
  • Jonny: 49ers
  • Neil: 49ers

Comments: Normal service resumed in San Francisco? The Niners followed up the big win against Jacksonville with another great performance against Tampa Bay.

Seattle narrowly lost out against the Rams last time out, blowing a fourth-quarter lead - their league-leading eighth of the season.

Seems like a straightforward 49ers victory here - the Seahawks offense is battered and bruised with Geno Smith, Kenneth Walker and Tyler Lockett dealing with recent injuries. - Jonny

Friday - 20:00:

Game 4: Dolphins (-9.5) @ Jets

Picks ATS:

  • Adam: Dolphins
  • Alan: Jets
  • Jonny: Dolphins
  • Neil: Jets

Money Line: Dolphins 1/5 & Jets 19/5

Picks Straight Up:

  • Adam: Dolphins
  • Alan: Dolphins
  • Jonny: Dolphins
  • Neil: Dolphins

Comments: Not always sure what to make of the 7-3 Dolphins, but the same can be said about their 4-6 opponents.

Jets’ QB Zach Wilson looks set to be benched, and surely Miami take this, with their attacking options – but it can be closer than a – 9.5 spread might suggest - Alan

Sunday - 18:00:

Game 5: Saints (+1.5) @ Falcons

Picks ATS:

  • Adam: Saints
  • Alan: Falcons
  • Jonny: Saints
  • Neil: Falcons

Money Line: Saints 20/21 & Falcons 20/23

Picks Straight Up:

  • Adam: Saints
  • Alan: Falcons
  • Jonny: Falcons
  • Neil: Falcons

Comments: Both teams come into this one off the back of a bye week and there is all to play for in the NFC South, with just one win between the top three teams.

The table-topping Saints are 5-5 despite a loss to the Vikings in week 10, while the Falcons have lost their last three straight games to sit at 4-6.

It looks likely that Atlanta will turn back to Desmond Ridder as QB for the foreseeable but he doesn't look as strong as Derek Carr has been on the road and with the Saints having four divisional games over the next seven weeks, this is a game they have to win. - Adam

Game 6: Steelers (-1.5) @ Bengals

Picks ATS:

  • Adam: Steelers
  • Alan: Bengals
  • Jonny: Bengals
  • Neil: Bengals

Money Line: Steelers 10/11 & Bengals 10/11

Picks Straight Up:

  • Adam: Steelers
  • Alan: Bengals
  • Jonny: Bengals
  • Neil: Bengals

Comments: Another divisional match up here and who would have thought that the Bengals (5-5) would be holding up the AFC North?

It only got worse for Cincy with the confirmed news that influential QB Joe Burrow would miss the rest of the season with a right wrist ligament tear, that requires significant surgery.

In comes former Washington Huskie Jake Browning, who went undrafted to the Vikings in 2019 and was cut in preseason on each of the next three seasons. He played his first NFL snap last season and then played his first real minutes last week in place of the injured Burrow. He doesn't seem to lack for confidence but this is a huge step up for the 27-year-old Californian.

The Steelers have been hit and miss this year but given the rookie at QB for the Bengals, I have to side with Pittsburgh. - Adam

Game 7: Jaguars (-1.5) @ Texans

Picks ATS:

  • Adam: Texans
  • Alan: Texans
  • Jonny: Texans
  • Neil: Jaguars

Money Line: Jaguars 4/5 & Texans 21/20

Picks Straight Up:

  • Adam: Texans
  • Alan: Texans
  • Jonny: Texans
  • Neil: Jaguars

Comments: The Texans have been one of the must-see teams in recent weeks, mainly due to rookie QB C.J. Stroud.

Stroud is currently having one of the best rookie seasons by any player ever. Over the past three games alone, he's thrown for 1,162 yards, which is the most passing yards ever for a rookie in any three-game span in NFL history, and now, he gets to face a Jaguars defense that can't stop the pass.

The Jaguars have lost three games this season and all three losses have come in a game where their opponent threw for at least 275 yards. I think that Stroud will eclipse that number on Sunday.

Looks like a Texans win, to me. - Jonny

Game 8: Buccaneers (+2.5) @ Colts

Picks ATS:

  • Adam: Colts
  • Alan: Colts
  • Jonny: Colts
  • Neil: Colts

Money Line: Colts 8/11 & Buccaneers 23/20

Picks Straight Up:

  • Adam: Colts
  • Alan: Colts
  • Jonny: Colts
  • Neil: Colts

Comments: Indy are only a game out from a wildcard berth and considering they lost their impressive looking rookie QB to a season-ending injury, that is quite the surprise. They come into this game on a two-game winning streak and could realistically be playing when the field is down to 14 teams.

I don't think much of Tampa Bay. Mike Evans and Chris Godwin are mighty fine receivers but if Baker Mayfield is under Center, they won't get too many chances to show off their talent. Give me the Colts at home - Neil

Game 9: Patriots (-3.5) @ Giants

Picks ATS:

  • Adam: Giants
  • Alan: Giants
  • Jonny: Giants
  • Neil: Patriots

Money Line: Patriots 4/7 & Giants 7/5

Picks Straight Up:

  • Adam: Giants
  • Alan: Giants
  • Jonny: Patriots
  • Neil: Patriots

Comments: When I got assigned this game to comment on, I genuinely didn't know which way to go. That fluke win for the Giants last week was just that. Tommy DeVito is still not any good. That O-Line in front of him might be even worse and if it wasn't for #26, they would have pretty much zero skill talent available to them on offense. Defensively though, they are darn good.

As much as I think the G-Men suck, I think the Pats might suck just that little bit less. This is going to be a turgid game and whatever the points number is, take the under. I'll take New England just because I think New York can't win in back-to-back weeks. - Neil

Game 10: Panthers (+3.5) @ Titans

Picks ATS:

  • Adam: Titans
  • Alan: Titans
  • Jonny: Panthers
  • Neil: Titans

Money Line: Titans 8/15 & Panthers 6/4

Picks Straight Up:

  • Adam: Titans
  • Alan: Titans
  • Jonny: Titans
  • Neil: Titans

Comments: If this game was in Carolina then I would have been tempted to roll with Bryce Young and his men to get their second win of the season. On the road though, I'll just about take Will Levis.

This rookie QB looked decent enough in his debut but three straight games away from home has seen his form dip. Back in Tennessee though, he makes two or three big plays to get the job done. - Neil

Sunday - 21:05:

Game 11: Rams (+1.5) @ Cardinals

Picks ATS:

  • Adam: Rams
  • Alan: Rams
  • Jonny: Rams
  • Neil: Cardinals

Money Line: Cardinals 10/11 & Rams 10/11

Picks Straight Up:

  • Adam: Rams
  • Alan: Rams
  • Jonny: Rams
  • Neil: Cardinals

Comments: Whisper it quietly but Kyler Murray actually looks ok and whilst the lustre has certainly worn off since his outstanding rookie campaign, he can still be a top QB in this league.

On Sunday, they went toe-to-take with the Texans and had an opportunity to win late. This should be close and the line feels right but I'll take the home side to win a tight one - Neil

Game 12: Browns (+2.5) @ Broncos

Picks ATS:

  • Adam: Broncos
  • Alan: Broncos
  • Jonny: Broncos
  • Neil: Broncos

Money Line: Broncos 8/11 & Browns 23/20

Picks Straight Up:

  • Adam: Broncos
  • Alan: Broncos
  • Jonny: Broncos
  • Neil: Broncos

Comments: The 7-5 Browns continue to churn out the wins, primarily thanks to an elite defense but this could be their toughest test yet in Denver.

The Broncos have won their last four straight to improve to a .500 record in the AFC West and things look to be clicking under Sean Payton and Russell Wilson.

Denver are the turnover kings and look really solid at home, while Cleveland are yet against relying on Dorian Thompson-Robinson at QB, despite adding ex-Bronco Joe Flacco to the practice squad in the week.

I expect this to be a tight game but will go for the experience of Payton and Wilson to get this one done at Mile High. - Adam

Sunday - 21:25:

Game 13: Chiefs (-8.5) @ Raiders

Picks ATS:

  • Adam: Raiders
  • Alan: Raiders
  • Jonny: Chiefs
  • Neil: Chiefs

Money Line: Chiefs 2/9 & Raiders 17/5

Picks Straight Up:

  • Adam: Chiefs
  • Alan: Chiefs
  • Jonny: Chiefs
  • Neil: Chiefs

Comments: The titanic clash just a few days ago at Arrowhead went against the Chiefs – but given that the opponents were Philadelphia, and it was as close as could be, it’s not too wounding.

The glorious T Kelce looked a little distracted at times, and it’s unlikely there will be a repeat of that; but this could be tight.

The Raiders kept the much-vaunted Dolphins’ attack fairly quiet for the most part the other day, and will attempt similar. They struggle against the rush though, and KC looked pretty slick on the ground against the Eagles - Alan

Sunday - 21:25:

Game 14: Bills (+3.5) @ Eagles

Picks ATS:

  • Adam: Eagles
  • Alan: Eagles
  • Jonny: Eagles
  • Neil: Bills

Money Line: Eagles 4/7 & Bills 7/5

Picks Straight Up:

  • Adam: Eagles
  • Alan: Eagles
  • Jonny: Eagles
  • Neil: Bills

Comments: The Bills' managed to keep their postseason hopes alive with a victory over the New York Jets last week.

This match is the start of a tough three-game stretch for Buffalo, who face the Eagles, Chiefs and Cowboys over the next three weeks, which could make or break their season.

The Eagles managed to beat the Chiefs last time out, and if the Bills are to have any chance of upsetting the odds here, they need a huge game from Josh Allen, who leads the league in interceptions with 12.

Philly just keeps on winning, and the home field advantage here could prove to be crucial. - Jonny

Monday - 01:20:

Game 15: Ravens (-3.5) @ Chargers

Picks ATS:

  • Adam: Ravens
  • Alan: Ravens
  • Jonny: Ravens
  • Neil: Chargers

Money Line: Ravens 8/15 & Chargers 6/4

Picks Straight Up:

  • Adam: Ravens
  • Alan: Ravens
  • Jonny: Ravens
  • Neil: Chargers

Comments: A cracker – and how about those 8-3 Ravens? Down to just 15/2 for Super Bowl glory, and fresh from slapping the Bengals, they rock up at SoFi full of confidence.

LA slipped up against the Packers, and will do very well to repel Baltimore.

Ravens -3.5? Where do I sign … - Alan

Tuesday - 01:15:

Game 16: Bears (+3.5) @ Vikings

Picks ATS:

  • Adam: Vikings
  • Alan: Vikings
  • Jonny: Vikings
  • Neil: Vikings

Money Line: Vikings 8/15 & Bears 6/4

Picks Straight Up:

  • Adam: Vikings
  • Alan: Vikings
  • Jonny: Vikings
  • Neil: Vikings

Comments: Monday Night Football sees the NFC North battle between the 6-5 Vikings and the 3-8 Bears.

With the Lions running away with the division, it's important for Minnesota to keep picking up the wins in hope of a play-off spot and they will want to make up for last week's narrow loss to the Broncos.

The Bears also lost to Detroit before their bye week but did look much improved under returning QB Justin Fields. However, they have a foul record against the Vikings, losing their last five straight, including a 19-13 loss in week 6.

I think this one will be a one score game again but am backing Joshua Dobbs to get the job done again. -  Adam

Season Records:

Against the Spread:

  • Adam: 79-85
  • Alan: 80-84
  • Jonny: 86-78
  • Neil: 84-80

Straight Up:

  • Adam: 95-69
  • Alan: 102-62
  • Jonny: 95-69
  • Neil: 92-72
