NBA Betting Tips: Knicks can bounce back after Celtics sorrow

Yesterday, I was so close to delivering an early Christmas present - two-out-of-three of my picks came in as the Oklahoma City Thunder beat the Golden State Warriors and the Philadelphia 76ers cruised to victory against the Washington Wizards. We just needed the New York Knicks to four more points in their loss against the Boston Celtics.
Nevertheless, let's see if I can go one better today. Read on for my NBA Betting Tips for Wednesday, December 3.
NBA Betting Tips - Wednesday, December 3
- New York Knicks -9.5 (vs Charlotte Hornets) @ 10/11
- Detroit Pistons -2.5 (@ Milwaukee Bucks) @ 5/6
- Miami Heat -4.5 (@ Dallas Mavericks) @ 10/11

New York Knicks -9.5 (vs Charlotte Hornets) @ 10/11
I backed the Knicks yesterday to cover the spread against the Celtics, which was a few points away from landing.
Tonight, I'm backing them to blow out the Hornets at home, who are having a poor season, currently sat with a record of 6-15. They're still trying to figure out their offence, and defensively they haven't been much better.
The Knicks, after the loss to Boston, have won four of their last five, and they're 10-1 at Madison Square Garden so far this term. NY defeated the Hornets 129-101 in their last meeting on November 27, and everything points to another double-digit victory here.

Detroit Pistons -2.5 (@ Milwaukee Bucks) @ 5/6
The struggling Milwaukee Bucks face the tall order of getting their season back on track when they host the high-flying Detroit Pistons on Wednesday night.
Just 11 days will separate matchups between these teams after Detroit handled the Bucks 129-116 in Milwaukee on November 22, and to be honest, I can't see the result being much different this time round.
To further add to the drama, there's speculation surrounding the future of Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo, who's taken a page straight from the unhappy Premier League footballer playbook, and deleted all his recent posts on social media.
The Pistons are sitting pretty at the top of the Eastern Conference, much to everybody's surprise, and I fully expect them to continue their fine start here.

Miami Heat -4.5 (@ Dallas Mavericks) @ 10/11
The Mavericks have won two games in a row for the first time since March and I'm intrigued to see if they can win three-in-a-row here.
Miami have started the season in reasonable fashion, and currently sit in third place in the Eastern Conference, and the Mavericks ran them close last week in a 106-102 win - although the Heat did surrender a 13-point lead.
Honestly, I can see this game going either way, as both teams can play solid defence, but I'm going to side with Miami because of their firepower. Dallas' shooting has been woeful so far this season, which goes a long way into explaining their poor start, and the likes of Norman Powell and Tyler Herro are both roughly averaging 25 points-per-game for Miami.
