We were so close to landing a treble yesterday, with two of my three NBA picks for Monday proving to be profitable selections.

I'm hoping to go one better today, so you can find my NBA betting tips for Tuesday below.

NBA Betting Tips - Tuesday, March 25

  • Miami Heat vs Golden State Warriors - Warriors (-5.5) @ 1/1
  • Houston Rockets vs Atlanta Hawks - Hawks (+8.5) @ 5/6
  • New York Knicks vs Dallas Mavericks - Knicks (-8.5) @ 4/5

Treble pays @ 5.6/1

Miami Heat vs Golden State Warriors - Warriors (-5.5) @ 1/1

My first pick comes from the match-up between the Miami Heat and the Golden State Warriors, with a reasonably friendly tip-off time of 23:30 (live on TNT Sports 2).

The Warriors' six-game road trip started with a demoralising loss to the Atlanta Hawks, but this game sees Jimmy Butler take on his former side, after being traded from South Beach to San Francisco just before the deadline. That trade has made the Warriors the hottest team in basketball, as they have 14 wins and three losses since February 13.

Miami got a much-needed win over the weekend as they ended a 10-game losing streak with a 122-105 triumph over the lowly Charlotte Hornets, but they're in shocking form, ranking 29th in the NBA in offensive rating over the last 11 games.

Golden State may see Steph Curry return to the court after the superstar point guard suffered a hard fall in last Thursday's win over Toronto, but even without the 37-year-old, I think Butler will have a point to prove against his former team, and will carry the Warriors to a comfortable win.

Miami Heat vs Golden State Warriors - Point Spread Golden State Warriors (-5.5)

New York Knicks vs Dallas Mavericks - Knicks (-8.5) @ 4/5

My second pick comes from Madison Square Garden as the New York Knicks host the injury-plagued Dallas Mavericks.

The Knicks have a strong home record and I find it hard to see Dallas giving them any problems here, given their absentee list. Kyrie Irving is out for the season, and Anthony Davis is day-to-day, which leaves the Mavericks without key contributors. Daniel Gafford and Dereck Lively are also both injured, further weakening their lineup.

I think New York will capitalise on their home advantage, as well as a makeshift Dallas lineup and cruise to a comfortable victory.

Houston Rockets vs Atlanta Hawks - Hawks (+8.5) @ 5/6

My final pick comes from Atlanta's visit to Houston as the bid to extend their winning streak to four games.

The Hawks have beaten Charlotte, Golden State and Philadelphia recently, and their good form stretches back further, winning seven of their last nine encounters.

While a nine-game winning streak propelled Houston to second place in the Western Conference standings, their run was snapped on Sunday against the Denver Nuggets.

The Rockets are the better side, but they're also a young team who are perhaps feeling the pressure of expectation. I think Atlanta's good form has gone slightly under the radar, and I'm backing them to cover the spread here.

Houston Rockets vs Atlanta Hawks - Point Spread Atlanta Hawks (+8.5)
