New York Knicks -8.5 (vs Memphis Grizzlies) @ 5/6

The New York Knicks are second favourites with Betfred, behind the Cleveland Cavaliers, to win the Eastern Conference this season at 7/2, and they're 12/1 to go all the way and win their first title since 1973.

They've certainly impressed at the start of this campaign, winning their last four games - and they're unbeaten at home.

The Knicks blew out local rivals Brooklyn 134-98 on Sunday, taking their season record to 6-3, while the Grizzlies squandered an 11-point half-time lead in a 114-100 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Memphis have some talent on their books, and they'll want to put that defeat to OKC firmly behind them, but they're also dealing with several injuries and the Knicks are rolling at the minute.

It's difficult to look past the home side here, who we're backing to extend their winning streak.

Oklahoma City Thunder -8.5 (vs Golden State Warriors) @ 23/20

This was arguably the biggest game in the NBA roughly a decade ago as the Thunder and Golden State Warriors were the two best teams in the Western Conference.

Fast forward to present day, and the Thunder are the best team in the NBA, never mind just the Western Conference, while the Warriors can never be fully ruled out of championship talk while Stephen Curry is on the roster.

However, the Warriors are on a five-game losing streak on the road and the Thunder have made a historic start to the campaign, winning 10 of their 11 matches. They've got the current MVP in Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and it's hard to see many teams slowing them down this season.

We're backing another Thunder win as they continue their historic start.

Boston Celtics +2.5 (@ Philadelphia 76ers) @ 10/11

If history is any indication, the visiting Boston Celtics and Philadelphia 76ers are destined for another close matchup on Tuesday night.

This is already the third meeting of the season between the Atlantic Division rivals. They squared off on opening night in Boston, where the Sixers escaped with a 117-116 victory. However, the Celtics claimed the rematch in Philly on Halloween with a one-point win of their own, 109-108.

Philly have lost three of their last four, while the Celtics have won two of the last three and look a reasonable bet to cover the spread here. As mentioned already, there hasn't been a great deal to split the teams when they've locked horns previously, backing Boston to keep this one close looks a decent bet.

Denver Nuggets -8.5 (@ Sacramento Kings) @ 10/11

The Nuggets head to Sacramento on a four-game winning run, and are quite rightly are favourites for this clash.

Nikola Jokic continues to showcase his talent as one of the best players in the league, scoring 32 points and recording 14 rebounds and 14 assists in the Nuggets' most recent victory over Indiana. The Kings have struggled to get going this season, and currently have a record of 3-7, despite Zach LaVine averaging roughly 25 points per game.

On paper, this screams a blowout win for Denver, which is exactly what we're going to back. Not many teams have an answer for Jokic, and we're expecting him to take over here.

Denver Nuggets -8.5
