NBA Betting Tips: Miami feature in Monday’s picks

It's the start of a new week, and I'm back with some NBA Betting Tips for Monday's basketball action.
There's an eight-game slate to get stuck into, and you can see who I'm backing below.
NBA Betting Tips - Monday, November 17
- Money Line - Milwaukee Bucks (@ Cleveland Cavaliers) @ 2/1
- Detroit Pistons -9.5 (vs Indiana Pacers) @ 10/11
- Miami Heat -2.5 (vs New York Knicks) @ 1/1
*odds correct at time of publication
Money Line - Milwaukee Bucks (@ Cleveland Cavaliers) @ 2/1
It's very rare to see the Milwaukee Bucks odds-against for an outright win so I feel that it's worth backing on Monday night.
There isn't a great deal to separate the Bucks (8-6) and the Cavaliers (9-5) in my opinion, and the former will have the best player on the floor in Giannis Antetokounmpo.
The 'Greek Freak' has demonstrated his worth as an MVP candidate and has started the season excellently scoring-wise, recording 41, 37, 30, 25, and 32 points in his last five games, and he could lead the Bucks to an upset win here.
Odds correct at time of publishing.
Detroit Pistons -9.5 (vs Indiana Pacers) @ 10/11
The Indiana Pacers share the unwanted title of having the worst record in the NBA at this moment in time, along with the Washington Wizards, so this pick looks a no-brainer, on paper at least.
I'm all too familiar with the unpredictability of the NBA but I'd be incredibly shocked if the Pacers managed to steal a surprise win here, as they're on a seven-game losing streak, and have been decimated by injuries.
Meanwhile, the Pistons have an 11-2 record - the best in the Eastern Conference - and have won each of their last eight games. The form book suggests a blowout win for Detroit, so that's what I'm backing.
Odds correct at time of publishing.
Miami Heat -2.5 (vs New York Knicks) @ 1/1
Finally, we head to the Kaseya Center as the Miami Heat host the New York Knicks.
The Heat lost to the Knicks last week, but I'm predicting an immediate bounce back at home. Normal Powell has been sensational for Miami recently, and the Knicks could be without Jalen Brunson - who missed Friday's clash - as well as OG Anunoby which significantly weakens their offence.
Miami are dealing with a couple of injuries themselves, so I believe this matchup will be a tightly-contested affair, but the Heat should leverage their home-court advantage to edge out NY here.
Odds correct at time of publishing.
