NBA Betting Tips: Can the Knicks steal another game on the road?

Game two of the NBA Finals takes place on Friday night (01:30am BST, 6:30pm local, live on Amazon Prime) at Frost Bank Center, as the San Antonio Spurs look to even the series.
The New York Knicks overturned a 14-point deficit to take the opening contest of the series, and they'll be firmly in the driving seat if they can take a 2-0 lead back to the Big Apple. Read on for my NBA Betting Tips for 5 June 2026.

Any Player to Record 14+ Rebounds @ 4/6
The Spurs' biggest issue in game one was rebounding the ball, particularly on the defensive end.
Victor Wembanyama is the Spurs' best rebounder - unsurprising at 7 ft 4 - and his ability to clean up the glass usually sparks the Spurs' transition offence, which was non-existent in the second half of game one.
Wemby still managed to secure 12 rebounds in the opening contest, but he had 22 opportunities, meaning he squandered 10 potential rebounds. So, if he rebounds the basketball the way we know he can, Wembanyama should be able to achieve this feat.
Another contender for this bet is the Knicks' Josh Hart.
The 31-year-old was excellent defensively in game one, accumulating 15 boards, and it felt like he claimed every important rebound, particularly down the stretch of the game. The Knicks will need a similar defensive showing from Hart if they hope to steal game two.

Any Player to Record 12+ Assists @ 13/2
The player I had in mind while thinking about this bet is New York's Jalen Brunson.
Brunson took 31 shots in game one, and made some huge buckets in crunch time, as he so often does, but I don't see him shooting as frequently tonight.
Post-season series are won and lost through adjustments, and the Spurs will focus the majority on slowing down Brunson, meaning that he'll have to move the ball more. The former Dallas Maverick guard went 12-from-31 in the field, which is wildly ineffective, so I'm expecting the 29-year-old to get his teammates going on Friday.
