Wizards @ Magic - Magic (-9.5) @ 10/11
The Orlando Magic have been on a sensational run in recent weeks, enjoying their longest win streak since a franchise-record-tying nine-game run during the 2010-11 season, and they'll hope to continue their good fortune when they host the Wizards on Wednesday night.
The Wizards snapped a nine-game losing streak with a 126-107 victory over Detroit last time out - the only side below them in the Eastern Conference standings.
With impressive victories over the Nuggets and Celtics, the Magic should have too much quality for Washington here. Paolo Banchero was named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week after averaging 23.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 5.0 assists in four games last week, and he could be the difference once again.
76ers @ Pelicans - 76ers (-1.5) @ EVS
The Sixers are eager to keep rolling after a historic victory over the Los Angeles Lakers on Monday night.
Joel Embiid recorded a triple-double through three quarters as the 76ers handed LeBron James the most lopsided loss of his 21-season NBA career.
The Pelicans were in decent form - they won five of their last six matches before heading into Utah for two straight games against the Jazz, eventually losing both.
Philly looked great against the Lakers, but they also lost to the Cavaliers, Pacers and Timberwolves this month. Can they repeat that Lakers performance here? I believe they can - the Sixers had four scorers in double figures against LA, demonstrating their firepower.
Jazz @ Grizzlies - Jazz (+4.5) @ 10/11
The Jazz are coming off the back of a two-game sweep of the Pelicans - 105-100 on Saturday and 114-112 on Monday.
Meanwhile, the Grizzlies enter this matchup having lost four consecutive games and five of six. Memphis are still looking for their first home win after eight defeats.
With Ja Morant's continued absence from his 25-game suspension, opponents are clamping down on Memphis' other main scorers, Desmond Bane and Jaren Jackson Jr. Bane scored 13 points, making only five of 16 shots against Minnesota last time out.
The Jazz have been woeful on the road, but their lone road win this season was over the Grizzlies earlier this month, so they know they can win in this building.
