NBA Betting Tips: Antetokounmpo to lead Bucks to victory

There are a plethora of NBA games taking place on Wednesday night and in the early hours of Thursday morning, as teams switch their focus back to the regular season, after we enjoyed in-season tournament action earlier this week.
Some big hitters are involved tonight, including a heavyweight Eastern Conference matchup between Milwaukee and Boston, while two Western Conference contenders lock horns at the Footprint Center as Phoenix host the Golden State Warriors.
NBA Betting Tips - 22nd November, 2023
- Denver Nuggets @ Orlando Magic - Magic (+4.5) @ 5/6
- Washington Wizards @ Charlotte Hornets - Hornets (-4.5) @ EVS
- Memphis Grizzlies @ Houston Rockets - Rockets (-5.5) @ 10/11
- Milwaukee Bucks @ Boston Celtics - Bucks (+5.5) @ 10/11
Accumulator odds of 12.36/1
Denver Nuggets @ Orlando Magic - Magic (+4.5) @ 5/6
The Nuggets snapped a four-game road skid in their last outing, despite the ejection of Nikola Jokic. They now visit an Orlando Magic side that are on the rise, having won their last four.
The Magic beat Toronto 126-107 in their third in-season tournament match, led by Paolo Banchero's 25 points. In addition, Orlando have impressed defensively, and currently have the best defensive rating in the NBA.
Denver have shown that they can grind out on the road, but in general their away form has been poor this term, going 3-4 for the season.
I fancy the Magic to cover here, given the form they're in.
Washington Wizards @ Charlotte Hornets - Hornets (-4.5) @ EVS
The Hornets' comeback and eventual overtime victory against Boston last time out is the highlight of their season so far.
Charlotte are 4-9 for the season, but LaMelo Ball remains one of the standout players in the league, and he led the way against Boston with 36 points, nine rebounds and eight assists. However, the question remains if Charlotte can put results together?
The Wizards have lost their last six since beating Charlotte 132-116, and they've lost their last three games by 13 or more points. Jordan Poole had a season-high 30 points in Monday night's 142-129 home loss to the Milwaukee Bucks, which offers some encouragement for Washington, but I'm expecting the Hornets to cover here.
Memphis Grizzlies @ Houston Rockets - Rockets (-5.5) @ 10/11
The Grizzlies have been one of the most surprising teams this season, for all the wrong reasons. They're currently competing without star guard Ja Morant but even so, I don't think anyone could have expected a 3-10 start to the season.
All three of their victories have come on the road, but I'm expecting them to struggle here against a Houston Rockets outfit that have actually been a pleasant surprise this year.
The Rockets are 6-6 for the season, but all six of their triumphs have come at the Toyota Center, so I'm favouring the home side in this one.
Milwaukee Bucks @ Boston Celtics - Bucks (+5.5) @ 10/11
This one should be a belter - the top-two teams in the Eastern Conference lock horns at TD Garden.
It all appears to be coming together for Milwaukee, as Giannis Antetokounmpo will have the chance to score 40 points for the third-straight game. The 'Greek Freak' is averaging 30.2 points per game this season, and I think Boston will have a hard time trying to slow him down here.
The Celtics are coming off a 121-118 overtime loss at Charlotte on Monday that ended the team's six-game winning streak, and perhaps more worryingly for Boston, they surrendered an 18-point first-half lead.
Milwaukee has won five in a row since a 5-4 start, and I'm backing them to cover here.
