There are eight NBA matches taking place on Wednesday night, and into the early hours of Thursday morning, beginning with a pivotal Eastern Conference match-up between Miami and Cleveland, before the Bucks and Celtics square-off in another potential East Coast classic.

Those two matches, along with Memphis' trip to Golden State, feature in our NBA Betting Tips for Wednesday's action.

NBA Betting Tips - Wednesday, March 20

  • Miami Heat to beat Cleveland Cavaliers @ 23/20
  • Boston Celtics -8.5 vs Milwaukee Bucks @ 10/11
  • Golden State Warriors -10.5 vs Memphis Grizzlies @ EVS

Treble pays 7.2/1

Miami Heat to beat Cleveland Cavaliers @ 23/20

The Miami Heat and Cleveland Cavaliers will go head-to-head for the third time this season, splitting the first two meetings, with the road team taking the victory each time.

Miami are 23/20 to win on the money line, implying that they have a 46.5% chance to steal a win in Cleveland. The Cavaliers are favourites at 8/11, or a 57.9% chance to enjoy another victory on home turf.

The Cavs are in a more comfortable position than Miami, and currently sit in third place in the East, while the Heat are in eighth, and flirting with the play-in tournament places.

Tyler Herro and Kevin Love look set to be absent for this game, which is a huge blow to Miami's scoring power, and Cleveland are dealing with injuries of their own - star guard Donovan Mitchell will miss this game through injury.

Cleveland's offense struggles at the best of times, and they currently rank 17th in offensive rating, so with Mitchell I can see them really struggling to score. Miami's defense is one of the best in the league, and should see them win this game, even if they are short on firepower.

Boston Celtics -8.5 vs Milwaukee Bucks @ 10/11

The two best teams in the Eastern Conference will face off at TD Garden.

The Celtics have an opportunity to extend their six-game winning streak, and they own the best record in the league with 14 games to play. I must admit, it's hard to not see them winning it all this year.

The C's have triumphed in their last nine at home, and while Milwaukee are eyeing a third-straight win of their own, not many teams have had success against Boston in their own house this season. In addition, the Bucks haven't been as hot on the road in recent weeks, winning just two of their last five.

The Celtics look superior in every aspect, and should cover the -8.5 spread.

Golden State Warriors -10.5 vs Memphis Grizzlies @ EVS

Our final pick comes from San Francisco as the Golden State Warriors host the Memphis Grizzlies.

The Warriors are attempting to end a three-game losing streak in front of their own fans here, and they won't get a better opportunity to do so against a Memphis side that has been decimated by injuries.

Golden State are in 10th spot in the West, which is also the final play-in place, so Steve Kerr will know that his side can't afford to keep losing games at home if they want to feature in the postseason.

The Grizzlies usually give the Warriors a good game, but I think Golden State will bounce back in style from the defeat they suffered last time out against the New York Knicks.
