Wednesday night sees a 15-game offering in the world of the NBA, as we rapidly approach the All-Star break. I've taken a look at the games, and picked out a treble for my NBA betting tips for today.

NBA Betting Tips - Wednesday, February 12

  • Boston Celtics vs San Antonio Spurs - Celtics (-8.5) @ 10/11
  • New York Knicks vs Atlanta Hawks - Knicks (-8.5) @ 10/11
  • Houston Rockets vs Phoenix Suns - Rockets (-7.5) @ 21/20

Treble pays @ 6.47/1

Boston Celtics vs San Antonio Spurs - Celtics (-8.5) @ 10/11

The Boston Celtics will take on the San Antonio Spurs in what should be an intriguing match-up (00:00 Thursday, live on TNT Sports 1).

The Celtics have won seven of their past 10 games, and most recently blew out the Heat and Knicks on the road, but the Spurs are only three games back of a play-in spot.

San Antonio majorly improved at the trade deadline by acquiring De'Aaron Fox, a pesky point guard with fantastic scoring ability, which can be paired with the generational talent of Victor Wembamyama.

Despite the optimism surrounding the Spurs at the moment, there isn't anybody who can guard Jayson Tatum, who shot 50% from the field the last time these two met and has scored a combined 73 points across Boston's last two games.

I'm taking the reigning champs to notch their 10th win in 13 games, and cover the spread.

Boston Celtics vs San Antonio Spurs - Point Spread Boston Celtics (-8.5)

Odds correct at time of publishing.

New York Knicks vs Atlanta Hawks - Knicks (-8.5) @ 10/11

The Knicks will play host to the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday night (00:30 Thursday), as third meets eighth in the Eastern Conference.

New York are coming off a 115-128 win over the Indiana Pacers, their third win in their last five games and they'll be looking to secure a top-three spot in the East before the All-Star break.

The Hawks enter this contest on the back of a 106-112 thriller of a win against the Orlando Magic, and are looking to extend their three-game winning streak here.

These two sides have met three times this season, with Atlanta winning twice and the Knicks winning once. However, the Hawks have struggled for consistency this term, and the Knicks have depth on both ends of the floor.

So, I'm taking the Knicks to cover here.

New York Knicks vs Atlanta Hawks - Point Spread New York Knicks (-8.5)

Odds correct at time of publishing.

Houston Rockets vs Phoenix Suns - Rockets (-7.5) @ 21/20

My final pick comes from the contest between the Houston Rockets and the Phoenix Suns (01:30 Thursday, live on TNT Sports 1).

The Suns find themselves out of play-off contention heading into the All-Star break, and will be desperate to snap their three-game road losing streak on Wednesday night. However, Houston have been one of the surprise packages of the season, and currently sit fifth in the Western Conference with a record of 33-20.

I think Houston have the edge here considering they've won their last two home encounters, and have one of the best rebounders in the league in Alperen Sengun, which gives them plenty of second-chance scoring opportunities.

The Suns have given up more than 129 points in each of their last three games, so expect them to have a hard time slowing down the Rockets.

Houston Rockets vs Phoenix Suns - Point Spread Houston Rockets (-7.5)

Odds correct at time of publishing.
