Our 5/1 treble sadly didn't land yesterday, but there's 10 NBA matches taking place tonight and we've picked out our best bets for the upcoming games.

NBA Betting Tips

  • Wizards @ Pacers - Pacers (-7.5) @ 10/11
  • Pelicans @ Warriors - Warriors (+1.5) @ 5/6
  • Nuggets @ Jazz - Jazz (+6.5) @ 10/11

Treble pays 5.68/1

Wizards @ Pacers - Pacers (-7.5) @ 10/11

The Pacers suffered a huge blow when All-Star point guard Tyrese Haliburton injured his hamstring in the 133-131 win over the Boston Celtics, and there's no timetable on his return.

Indiana didn't fare well in the immediate aftermath of Haliburton's left knee injury on January 11 of last season - he sat out the team's following 10 games, with Indiana losing nine of them.

However, I expect the Pacers to have too much firepower when they host the Washington Wizards on Wednesday night. The hosts have won seven of their last eight games and four of their last five games at home, where they're averaging 128.4 points per game.

The Wizards have lost five-straight games and three-straight on the road; and while they have some bright moments on offense, they have the third-worst defense in the NBA.

Pelicans @ Warriors - Warriors (+1.5) @ 5/6

The Warriors and Pelicans come into this matchup in contrasting form, which should make for an intriguing clash in San Francisco.

New Orleans blew out the Sacramento Kings 133-100 on Sunday, with CJ McCollum leading the way with 30 points. Meanwhile, the Warriors were comfortably beaten by the Toronto Raptors in a 133-118 home loss.

This will be the second time that these teams have met this season, and the first encounter was another blowout, this one in Golden State's favour, 130-102 in October at New Orleans.

Draymond Green is eligible to return after his suspension, which could provide a much-needed boost for the Warriors, who have have spluttered through the first half of the season, and find themselves two games below .500.

Golden State are 11-10 at Chase Center this term, but they've won the last four encounters against New Orleans. True, this is a different Warriors team compared to a few years ago, but I still believe they can cover the spread at least here.

Nuggets @ Jazz - Jazz (+6.5) @ 10/11

The Utah Jazz have shown that they're capable of going head-to-head with some of the league's heavyweights recently, winning eight of their last 10 games, and they're now looking to make it three wins on the spin when they host the Denver Nuggets.

Utah are fresh off road wins over two of the best teams in the Eastern Conference, defeating the Philadelphia 76ers 120-109 on Saturday and the Milwaukee Bucks 132-116 on Monday.

The Jazz will attempt to have another strong offensive performance when they face a Denver squad that have won 12 of their past 15 games. The Nuggets come into this contest off the back of a 131-114 home victory over the Detroit Pistons on Sunday night.

This could be a game where Utah are brought back down to earth against the defending champions, but I'm expecting them to take the fight to Denver.
