After landing a 5/1 treble yesterday, more NBA action heads our way tonight, so let's see if we can pick out another winner here.

NBA Betting Tips

  • Timberwolves @ Magic - Over 217.5 Points @ 10/11
  • Kings @ Pistons - Over 239.5 Points @ 10/11
  • Raptors @ Lakers - Lakers (-3.5) @ 10/13

Treble pays 5.44/1

Timberwolves @ Magic - Over 217.5 Points @ 10/11

The Timberwolves are the best team in the Western Conference, but they've hit a bit of a slump recently, losing three of their last four, and things don't get any easier on Tuesday night.

Minnesota have just two wins in their last nine meetings with Orlando, and the Magic come into this game off the back of consecutive victories over Denver and Atlanta, winning in clutch time on both occasions.

In addition, the Magic have won 13 of their 17 games at home this season, but they've also played overtime in two of their last three, so fatigue could play a factor here.

If I had to pick a winner, I'd opt for the home side, but instead I'm going to back the over on the points - that total of 217.5 has landed in five of Minnesota's last seven games, whilst doing the same in five of Orlando's last six.

Kings @ Pistons - Over 239.5 Points @ 10/11

The Detroit Pistons have been involved in high-scoring games of late, having seen five of their last six games surpass the 240-point mark.

I'm expecting more of the same tonight when they welcome a Sacramento Kings team that will be looking to bounce back, after putting up just 100 points against the New Orleans Pelicans.

Another reason I'm expecting the points to rack up, is due to the fact that the Pistons are the worst team in the NBA when it comes to defensive rating, and the Kings aren't brilliant defensively themselves, ranking 23rd in the same metric.

De'Aaron Fox knows how to get the basket for Sacramento, and Detroit have had plenty of issues defending quick guards this season, so I'm expecting him to have an efficient scoring night.

Raptors @ Lakers - Lakers (-3.5) @ 10/13

After a much-needed victory over their LA neighbours on Sunday, the Lakers will look to build momentum on Tuesday when they welcome the Toronto Raptors to Crypto.com Arena.

The Lakers ended a four-game losing streak with a hard-fought 106-103 victory over the surging Los Angeles Clippers last time out, as LeBron James scored 25 points with eight rebounds and seven assists.

LA will need James to put in a similar kind of performance here, as the new-look Raptors are playing better after a rough stretch, winning three of their last four games following a run in which they lost five of six. They travel to Southern California after enjoying a dominant 133-118 victory over the Golden State Warriors on Sunday.

The Lakers' defense was excellent against the Clippers, and they need to replicate that intensity again. As mentioned, Toronto are playing better, but they'll have a tough time trying to slow down LeBron James and Anthony Davis. In general, the Lakers tend to struggle to score, but their defense should see them cover here.
