Tuesday night sees six matches taking place in the NBA, with the likes of the Philadelphia 76ers, Boston Celtics and Golden State Warriors all in action. We've picked out our best bets for the upcoming matches.

NBA Betting Tips

  • Bulls @ 76ers - 76ers (-9.5) @ 10/13
  • Celtics @ Thunder - Thunder @ 5/4
  • Magic @ Warriors - Warriors (-4.5) @ 21/20

Treble pays 7.16/1

Bulls @ 76ers - 76ers (-9.5) @ 10/13

The Sixers return home after a 2-2 road trip, and they may have to take on the Bulls without their star man Joel Embiid.

The reigning MVP has missed the last four matches with an ankle sprain, and Philly are 2-5 this season without Embiid.

The Sixers lost 105-92 against Chicago on Saturday, and looked flat without their star center, although that game was the second game of a back-to-back, so there may have been some fatigue setting in.

Should Embiid suit up for this encounter, then that will provide Philly with a welcomed boost, especially since Chicago are expected to be without Nikola Vucevic and Zach LaVine from their starting five.

Playing on the road hurts the Bulls too, as they are 4-10 away from the United Center, so I'm taking the Sixers here.

Celtics @ Thunder - Thunder @ 5/4

I have to say I'm looking forward to this one, as two of the best sides in the NBA will lock horns here.

The Celtics have the best record in the NBA at 26-6, but the Thunder have emerged as one of the surprise packages in the Western Conference, with a record of 22-9. OKC finished 34 games under .500 just two seasons ago, but have now propelled themselves to second place in the West.

Boston have won six consecutive games, their fourth winning streak of five or more games this season, and the C's have also won 11 of their past 12. However, all six of Boston's losses have come on the road.

The Thunder are enjoying a four-game winning streak of their own, and it includes victories over the West-leading Timberwolves, the defending champion Nuggets, and another playoff contender in the Knicks.

All that considered, I think Oklahoma City can continue their winning streak here. Boston tend to fare better at home, and the Thunder have seen off some tough competition in recent weeks.

Magic @ Warriors - Warriors (-4.5) @ 21/20

The Golden State Warriors will be aiming to begin 2024 with a victory when they welcome the Orlando Magic to Chase Center on Tuesday night.

Interestingly, the Warriors have never beaten Paolo Banchero, the reigning Rookie of the Year. The 21-year-old lived up to the billing of having been the No. 1 pick in the draft last season, by torching the Warriors for 22 points in a 130-129 home win in November 2022, before then putting up 25 points in a 115-101 triumph at Golden State two months later.

In addition, the Magic boast the second-best defensive rating in the NBA, allowing 110.8 points per 100 possessions, but apart from Banchero, Orlando have struggled offensively.

The Warriors have fallen back into losing ways, suffering defeat in their last three, after enjoying a five-game win streak recently.

However, Golden State still have one of the best offensive weapons in the league in Steph Curry, and the Warriors should have too much firepower here for the Magic.
