NBA Betting Tips: Warriors and Suns feature in Tuesday’s picks

We managed to go three-for-three in yesterday's picks, so let's hope we can follow that up with another win. There's just four games taking place on Tuesday night, but we've picked out our best bets for the upcoming action.
NBA Betting Tips
- Grizzlies @ Pelicans - Under 233.5 @ 5/6
- Spurs @ Bucks - Bucks (-16.5) @ 10/11
- Celtics @ Warriors - Warriors (+5.5) @ 10/11
- Suns @ Trail Blazers - Suns (-7.5) @ 10/11
Four-fold pays 11.75/1
Grizzlies @ Pelicans - Under 233.5 @ 5/6
The points line has been set at 233.5 for this game, but the last meeting between Memphis and New Orleans only produced a total of 216 points.
The Pelicans are averaging 116 points a game, and looking to make it five-straight wins here, but they're taking on a Grizzlies team that rank 30th in the league for scoring so I'm finding it difficult to see the points racking up.
The Grizzlies are having a tough time dealing with various injuries at the moment, however, Ja Morant is set to make his season debut here after his suspension, and despite his talent, it's going to take him a few weeks to get up to speed.
The Grizzlies are also playing the second game of a back-to-back, so I'm expecting some fatigue to set in, which is why I'm opting for a low-scoring game.
Spurs @ Bucks - Bucks (-16.5) @ 10/11
A highly-anticipated matchup between Victor Wembanyama and Giannis Antetokounmpo takes place on Tuesday night, but in reality, I don't think this game will be close.
Of course, it'll be great to see Wembanyama pit his wits against one of the best teams in the NBA, but the Spurs have won just four games all season. To put that into context, Milwaukee are riding a four-game winning streak heading into this encounter.
San Antonio are 2-9 on the road, and the Bucks have won 13-straight games at home, in addition to improving to 9-0 when Damian Lillard scores 30 or more points.
The Bucks simply have too much firepower here, and I'm expecting a big victory for Milwaukee.
Celtics @ Warriors - Warriors (+5.5) @ 10/11
A rematch of the 2022 NBA Finals takes place at Chase Center on Tuesday night as the Golden State Warriors welcome the Boston Celtics to San Francisco.
The Celtics are arguably the best team in basketball, and are yet to drop a game since they lost in the NBA In-Season Tournament quarter-finals against Indiana.
Golden State's 118-114 triumph against Portland last time out was their second consecutive win, but they almost blew a double-figure lead again. Steph Curry's streak of consecutive regular-season contests with a 3-pointer ended at 286 in the win. He'd gone more than five years without failing to make a 3-pointer - since December 2018 - so I think he'll be looking to respond with a big performance here.
In terms of the result, I'm unsure which way this one will go as the Warriors seem to perform much better at home, but I do think that Boston are too strong at both ends of the court. However, I fancy the Warriors to cover here, especially if Curry gets going early doors.
Suns @ Trail Blazers - Suns (-7.5) @ 10/11
Portland will be looking to avoid a second eight-game losing streak when they take on the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday night.
The Trail Blazers showed plenty of promise in their comeback against Golden State, but ultimately didn't have the experience to get over the line. In addition, Portland have the fourth-worst offense in the league, and they come up against a Phoenix outfit that have struggled as of late, but have two of the best scorers in the league in Kevin Durant and Devin Booker.
Durant scored 28 points and Booker added 27 for Phoenix in their 112-108 win over Washington, and although their recent form doesn't fill me with confidence, I don't think Portland have the weapons to contain Phoenix's offense here.
