We went three-for-three in our tips yesterday - let's see if we can follow that up once again here...

There's more regular season NBA action tonight and we've picked out our best bets for the upcoming games.

NBA Betting Tips

  • Cavaliers @ Celtics - Celtics (-9.5) @ 5/6
  • Lakers @ Mavericks - Lakers (-1.5) @ 10/11
  • Warriors @ Suns - Suns (-2.5) @ 10/11

Cavaliers @ Celtics - Celtics (-9.5) @ 5/6

The Cleveland Cavaliers will attempt to hand the Boston Celtics their first home loss of the season here.

Boston improved to a 10-0 home record by beating the New York Knicks 133-123 on Friday, and welcomed the return of center Kristaps Porzingis.

The Cavs are in decent form themselves, winning five of their last six, but they're likely to be without Evan Mobley for this encounter, which is important as he would likely matchup on Boston's leading scorer Jayson Tatum.

Perhaps some tinkering with the lineup could see the Cavs cover here, but the Celtics are too strong at home for me.

Lakers @ Mavericks - Lakers (-1.5) @ 10/11

The NBA In-Season Tournament champions take to the court for the first time since their 123-109 triumph over the Indiana Pacers on Saturday night in Las Vegas.

The Lakers captured the inaugural event in impressive fashion, winning seven straight games by a total of 135 points, and while their regular season form hasn't nearly been as impressive as their tournament run, perhaps securing the In-Season Tournament title can catapult them up the Western Conference standings.

However, the Mavericks will pose a difficult test - they come into this matchup with the fifth-highest scoring offense in the NBA led by the dynamic duo of Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving.

I still fancy the Lakers here. I believe the In-Season Tournament triumph will kick-start their campaign, starting at Dallas on Tuesday night.

Warriors @ Suns - Suns (-2.5) @ 10/11

The Golden State Warriors will attempt to snap a five-game road losing streak when they take on the Phoenix Suns at the Footprint Center.

Phoenix hope to have their 'big three' of Kevin Durant, Devin Booker and Bradley Beal all on the court together for the first time this season when the sides meet, as Beal has been plagued by back problems and has sat out the past 12 games.

The Warriors have been inconsistent to say the least so far this term, and have surrendered big leads in multiple games. They struggled on the road all last year, and that seems to have carried over into this season.

I'm taking the Suns here, especially if their Durant, Booker and Beal all feature - that's simply too much firepower for Golden State to handle.
