Just the two matches to focus on tonight from the world of the NBA, as the San Antonio Spurs host the Milwaukee Bucks, and the Golden State Warriors welcome the Denver Nuggets to Chase Center.

  • Nuggets @ Warriors - Warriors (+2.5) @ 10/11

Bucks @ Spurs - Bucks (-9.5) @ 10/11

The Bucks will enter this clash hoping to end a two-game skid, after losing to the Indiana Pacers last night.

Milwaukee rolled past the Spurs in the recent matchup on December 20, winning 132-119 as rookie phenom Victor Wembanyama sat out due to a sprained ankle. However, the no.1 pick is expected to feature tonight as he attempts to lift a struggling San Antonio team who are sat bottom of the Western Conference.

Despite Milwaukee playing their third game in four nights, they should have too much for the Spurs here. San Antonio have lost 26 of their past 28 outings, and they're giving up an average of 14.4 three-point shots a night, which is the worst in the entire league.

Damian Lillard should have a field day from beyond the arc, and Giannis Antetokounmpo should dominate inside to lead the Bucks to a blowout win.

Nuggets @ Warriors - Warriors (+2.5) @ 10/11

After two narrow losses in Colorado, the Golden State Warriors will be hoping that a change of venue will make a difference when the sides meet in San Francisco on Thursday night.

The Warriors snapped a three-game losing streak to defeat the Orlando Magic last time out, with 36 points from Stephen Curry, but they face a much sterner test against the Nuggets, who arguably have the best player in the NBA in Nikola Jokic.

Jokic had 35 points and 13 rebounds, then 26 points and 14 rebounds in the two wins over the Warriors earlier in the season, and Golden State don't look to have any answers to slow the Serbian down.

However, I am expecting a tight battle down the stretch here. If the Warriors can get Curry and Klay Thompson hot early doors, then I don't think the Nuggets have anybody who can match the outside shooting of those two, apart from Jamal Murray, perhaps.
