NBA Betting Tips: Suns and Celtics feature in Sunday’s picks

There's plenty of NBA action for us to enjoy on Sunday night, and there's reasonable tip-off times for a change!

Magic @ Pistons - Magic (-6.5) @ 10/11

The Orlando Magic come into this game looking to build momentum at the Pistons' expense.

Orlando are aiming to end their three-season playoff drought this year, as they currently sit eighth in the Eastern Conference, and they're 2-1 in their current five-game road trip.

They have the perfect chance to boost their postseason hopes here against a Detroit team that are desperate for the campaign to be over. The Pistons are 6-42 for the year so far, and are guaranteed a losing record come the end of the season.

Suns @ Wizards -  Suns (-10.5) @ 5/6

Bradley Beal returns to his old stomping ground for the first time since his trade to Phoenix, as the Suns visit the Wizards on Sunday night.

The Suns are looking to end their marathon seven-game road trip with a win after splitting the first six games, and they should be back to full strength here.

Washington have struggled to slow teams down on the defensive end all season long, and while Jordan Poole is a capable scorer, he blows hot and cold, and can't be relied on regularly to rack up the points for the Wizards.

The spread is a large one, but Washington's defensive woes, coupled with Phoenix's firepower, lead me to believe that the Suns should have enough to cover here.

Grizzlies @ Celtics - Celtics (-15.5) @ 10/11

The Grizzlies will attempt to end a four-game losing streak when they visit TD Garden to take on the Boston Celtics on Sunday night.

The Celtics are also looking to bounce back after a surprise defeat against the Los Angeles Lakers - a game in which Boston were heavily favoured on the point spread.

Memphis are competing against numerous injuries, including star guard Ja Morant who is out for the rest of the season with a shoulder injury. The question is; will the Grizzlies be competitive enough to cover a huge spread of 15.5?

Potentially, as there's plenty of breathing room, however, I'm anticipating a big Celtics performance here off the back of a surprise defeat at home to their arch rivals, the Lakers. Everyone was expecting the C's to destroy LA, especially since LeBron James and Anthony Davis didn't feature.

Boston began the season 20-0 at home but they've lost three of their last five home games since then. As I've mentioned above, I think Boston will come out firing on all cylinders and ultimately enjoy a big win.
