Jaguars vs Bears Predictions: Chicago to disrupt Jacksonville’s London party

The Jacksonville Jaguars will play the first of back-to-back games in London this Sunday (14:30, Sky Sports Main Event) as they prepare to face the Chicago Bears at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The Jaguars have won three of their previous four games across the pond and they triumphed in both of their contests in London 12 months ago. 

While their experience of playing in NFL London should be an advantage, Chicago should be able to spoil their plans this weekend.

Chicago's secondary is limited at the minute due to several injuries. Safety Jaquan Brisker will miss out due to concussion, while cornerbacks Terell Smith and Tyrique Stevenson are set to sit out the game due to hip and calf injuries. 

Defensive tackle Zacch Pickens is struggling with a groin issue, so the Jaguars have the advantage in terms of injuries. 

Jacksonville have yet to rule anybody out of the game, but Daniel Thomas, Gabe Davis, Evan Engram, Yasir Abdullah, Devin Lloyd, Darnell Savage, Travis Etienne Jr. and Tyson Campbell were all limited in practice on Thursday.

Chicago are the 20/23 favourites for the second NFL London game of the season, while the Jaguars are priced at 20/21 to win their second game of the campaign. 

The Bears are 20/21 to cover the -1.5 handicap, while over 44.5 points is priced at 10/11. 

Bears running back D'Andre Swift is the 11/10 favourite to score a touchdown anytime.

The Bears are bottom of the NFC North table, but they still have a winning record. Caleb Williams and co are 3-2 this season, and while their divisional games are on the horizon, they have shown signs of progress in recent weeks. 

The same can be said for Jacksonville, who lost their opening four matches of the campaign before beating the Indianapolis Colts 37-34 last weekend. 

Jacksonville showed plenty of heart against the Colts, but they beat an Indianapolis team that was missing their best two offensive players, Anthony Richardson and Jonathan Taylor. To only beat them by a field goal shows they are still struggling and Chicago should be able to punish them. 

Chicago's defence has continued to cause problems for all quarterbacks they have faced, so expect Trevor Lawrence to struggle on Sunday afternoon. 

Tank Bigsby anytime touchdown scorer @ 21/10 

Jacksonville running back Etienne Jr. is a doubt for Sunday's game due to a shoulder injury and he may have his snap count limited. 

That should be no issue, though, with Bigsby ready to continue his recent form. 

Bigsby scored two touchdowns during the win over the Colts and he has ran for 191 yards in the last two games. He is powerful, evasive and determined to prove a point, so if the Jaguars get remotely close to the red zone, expect Bigsby to make his mark.
