The Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles return from their bye week for a repeat of this year's Super Bowl, with the Eagles on the road for their trip to Arrowhead Stadium on Monday evening.

Andy Reid's Chiefs came out on top in a thrilling finale last season, as they won 38-35 in an end-to-end battle at State Farm Stadium in Arizona.

The two teams are still the best in their respective conferences, with the Eagles leading the way in the NFC, while the Chiefs rule the AFC for now.

Chiefs vs Eagles Betting Tips

  • #Pickyourpunt - D'Andre Swift - Over 49.5 rushing yards @ 4/7
  • #PickYourPunt - Both Teams to Score 20+ Points @ 5/4

Match Odds

The Chiefs are 20/29 to prevail in the money line market, while the Eagles are considered 6/5 outsiders on their travels.

Kansas City have won 17 of their last 20 home games and also covered the spread in four of their last five as a favourite.

They are -2.5 favourites at 20/23 on the spread, while those who expect the Eagles to cover the +2.5 line can do so at 20/21.

The points line is set at 44.5, with unders 20/21 and overs priced at 20/23.

Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is the favourite to score the first touchdown, with the 34-year-old priced at 11/2.

Team News

Both teams had hoped to clear their injury woes ahead of kick-off, but Philadelphia still have some issues. Tight end Dallas Goedert will miss the game due to a forearm injury, but the Eagles have not placed him on IR, hoping he can return in the coming weeks.

Safety Justin Evans has yet to be cleared off the IR return list, but linebacker Nakobe Dean is still out on IR.

Chiefs coach Reid only has one injury to contend with, with wide receiver Richie James classed as questionable.

#Pickyourpunt - D'Andre Swift - Over 49.5 rushing yards @ 4/7

The Eagles will be on a high, having beaten NFC East rivals, the Dallas Cowboys, 28-23 before their bye week. Nick Sirianni has got his team in rhythm, and they are 8-1 and 4-1 on the road.

Only the New York Jets have gotten the better of the Eagles so far, but Goedert's injury will alter their plans.

Their rushing attack has not been as good as it can be, but they face a Chiefs team who have struggled against the run.

The Chiefs have allowed 4.6 yards per carry to opposition running backs, and Swift has averaged 4.5 per carry. Swift has also averaged 68.2 yards per game this season, and the Eagles will lean on him to progress downfield.

#PickYourPunt - Both Teams to Score 20+ Points @ 5/4

This could be another classic encounter between two teams that never know when they are beaten. Kansas City have been sloppy on offence, turning the ball over 17 times already, but they continue to find a way to get the job done.

The Chiefs are 7-2 for the season and 4-1 at home, and they were victorious against the Miami Dolphins in Frankfurt in their game before the bye.

Their defence has conceded the second-fewest points in the NFL, but they have not faced a team of Philadelphia's quality.

Both teams have playmakers, and it would be a surprise to see them fail to score 20 points or more each.
