Browns vs Cowboys Betting Tips
Team News
The injury report for the Browns has eight players who had limited participation in practice, including the likes of David Bell (quad), Jack Conklin (knee), Jordan Hicks (calf), Maurice Hurst (hamstring) and Quinton Jefferson (Achilles).
Meanwhile, the only Dallas Cowboy with an injury designation from Thursday's practice is tight end John Stephens (hamstring) who did not participate at all.
Even with news that the Browns will be without some key players, the Cowboys are a slight underdog for Sunday's match-up.
The Browns are 8/11 on the moneyline, while Dallas are 23/20, giving them a theoretical chance of 46.5% of opening the season with a win.
Under 40.5 points @ 20/21
The Browns made a fast start to last season at home with an impressive 24-3 win over AFC North rivals the Cincinnati Bengals, and they will be hoping for a repeat performance in this season's opener.
The Cleveland defence was one of the best in the entire NFL last term, limiting the Titans to three points at home, shutting out the Cardinals, allowing the Steelers only 10 points and kept the 49ers down to 17 points in an unexpected win. However, the Browns struggled to replicate those numbers on the road.
Deshaun Watson was 5-1 in his six starts last season, however he's been out of action for a while due to a shoulder injury, so he may be rusty in the opening game of the season.
The Cowboys also have some elite defensive figures within their ranks, and also possess an brilliant run game with CeeDee Lamb. They'll be equal to the challenge posed by Cleveland here, which is why I'm taking the under on the points total.

Jerry Jeudy to score a touchdown anytime @ 7/2
Jeudy had an injury-plagued four years in Denver, but has the chance to make a fresh start with the Browns.
The former Bronco posted 39 or more receiving yards 11 times in his final season at Empower Field and has the potential to do far better in his new home.
He'll be eager to impress in his first start for the Browns, so I fancy him to score a touchdown anytime on Sunday night, although that could depend on Watson's performance at quarterback.
