Sunday Night Football sees the Baltimore Ravens host the Buffalo Bills (01:20 Monday, live on Sky Sports Main Event) as 2018 first-rounders Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson go head-to-head.

The Bills have started the season 3-0 but face arguably their toughest test so far in Baltimore, while the Ravens come into this game fresh off the back of their first win of the campaign against the Cowboys. Read on for my Bills vs Ravens prediction, as well as the latest team news and match odds.

Bills vs Ravens Betting Tips

  • Buffalo Bills (+2.5) @ 20/23
  • Over 46.5 points @ 20/23

Team News

The Ravens practiced without three of their starting offensive linesman on Wednesday, which could be problematic heading into this tie. Center Tyler Linderbaum has a knee problem, right tackle Patrick Mekari is listed with a neck issue, while left guard Andrew Vorhees is hampered by an ankle injury.

In addition, Baltimore listed nine players on their injury report, including Michael Pierce (shoulder) and Roquan Smith (ankle).

As for Buffalo, Tylan Gamble has been placed on injured reserve duty after picking up a groin injury in the Bills' win over the Jaguars last week, and Kaiir Elam suffered a neck injury in the same game.

Dawuane Smoot and Javon Solomon finally got some playing time on Monday night after sitting out Weeks 1 and 2, so they're both expected to feature here.

The Ravens are favourites on the moneyline at 10/13, giving them an implied win probability of 56.5%, with the Bills priced up at 11/10 straight up.

The spread is currently set at 2.5, and it's 20/21 for Baltimore to cover, while Buffalo are 20/23 to do the same.

Buffalo Bills (+2.5) @ 20/23

Perhaps I'm being foolish, but I really fancy Buffalo to cover here. Yes, the Ravens were brilliant against the Cowboys, but they almost threw away that game towards the end.

To me, the Bills have done nothing to suggest they're worthy of being underdogs for this game, and they have the most explosive offence in the entire league through the first weeks of the season. No team is scoring more (37 points per game), and since the second half of Week 1, they’ve outscored opponents 104-31.

Granted, they haven't faced a challenge at the level of Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry, but the Bills haven't skipped a beat so far, despite losing Stefon Diggs in the offseason.

Buffalo will know that they need to force the Ravens to pass rather than run the football, as their passing attack has been average at best. In addition, Josh Allen has been excellent so far this term, and I find it difficult to back against him here.

Over 46.5 points @ 20/23

Jackson and Allen are two of the best quarterbacks in the entire NFL, and they look set to put on an exciting show on Sunday night.

The Bills match-up well against Baltimore's defence - the Ravens have one of the worst pass defences in the league through the first three weeks.

On the other hand, the running duo of Jackson and Henry will be almost impossible for Buffalo to stop - the latter ran for over 180 yards last time out, while Jackson found the end zone on three of his first five drives against the Cowboys.

The ability of both QBs could turn this into a shootout, in my opinion, and the points could easily stack up.
