What a game we have in the late afternoon window over in the States as the Buffalo Bills welcome the Dallas Cowboys into upstate New York in a matchup of two teams who still have Super bowl aspirations.

@NFLGirlUK is here with her match preview and we've picked out a couple of bets for you to consider for this game, set to be broadcast live on Sky Sports...

Bills vs Cowboys Betting Tips:

  • Back Dallas Cowboys to win on the Money Line @ 11/10
  • Back Dallas Cowboys over 27 points in the Dallas Cowboys 25-27 points market @ 13/8

It’s always difficult to say that one singular game determines the outcome of an entire season, but this might be the one for the Buffalo Bills. They go up against the Dallas Cowboys in what is sure to be one of the best games of the week, though it’s going to be a difficult one for either side to win.

Starting in Buffalo, their season got off the rails quickly. They lost the season opener, won three straight games, then completely lost it, and fell to 6-6. They were going into a game against the Kansas City Chiefs last weekend, coming off a bye week, with their season hanging in the balance.

Another loss would have pushed them further out of playoff contention. However, they overcame adversity and beat the reigning champions on the road. Now, they take on the Cowboys, a team that many think is playing the best football in the league at the moment.

If Buffalo wins and improves to 8-6, they get more than just better playoff positioning. They get a confidence boost that would be unheard of. The guys on this team that’ve struggled this season would feel like they can win the Super Bowl again, maybe even for the first time since the opener. Buffalo needs this win for their own morale, to prove that they can compete, and to ensure a play9off spot down the line.

As for Dallas, this team might have the MVP right now. Dak Prescott is playing at a level that many quarterbacks dream of playing at. This year, he’s thrown for 3,505 yards, 28 touchdowns and only six interceptions.

We’re watching him diagnose defenses incredibly fast, and he’s making the most out of his opportunities. This is an offense that has scored over 30 points in all but four of their 13 games. They’ve scored over 40 points in five of them as well.

It’s not often you see a team dominate this many of their opponents, but that’s what Dallas is doing. They just beat the league leading Philadelphia Eagles last week to take over their division, winning 33-13. Confidence is absolutely there, and the stats are there.

The problem everybody always has with Dallas is that they don’t show up in big moments. It feels like they might have turned a corner by winning that Eagles game, though this is another opportunity to prove it to the world.

I like the Cowboys to win this game. I know the Bills have more to play for, but Dallas certainly doesn’t want to give the division title over to Philadelphia. A loss and an Eagles win immediately put them back down into second place. And it doesn’t just throw Dallas back to number two in the NFC, it puts them to number five, forcing them into a road playoff game in the Wild Card round. They don’t want that and will do everything in their power to win out, keep their momentum rolling, and secure a home playoff game. Buffalo’s struggles this season will show up again and set them apart.

Match Odds:

This is an absolute gem of a game and with it coming up to Christmas, I'm sure many fans will decide to push through and watch it all the way to the end and just be a bit of a zombie at work on Monday morning.

The line has been set as Buffalo -1.5 with the Bills a 10/13 favourite on the Money Line and Dallas coming in at 11/10.

Only the Rams against the Commanders has seen their Total Points line put above this game as the traders think 49.5pts is a good spot to set the market.

CeeDee Lamb (5/6) along with Stefon Diggs and Tony Pollard (10/11) are all odds-on to score a touchdown in this one.

Bet 1 - Dallas Cowboys to win on the Money Line @ 11/10

If I think a team is going to win the match outright and they are the betting underdog, then it is fairly obvious what my first bet of the match is going to be.

This is a huge game for both teams and ever since Buffalo have changed their Offensive Coordinator, they have looked much more like themselves. However, Dak Prescott is just on fire at the moment and when he's in a groove, it is tough to back against him

Bet 2 - Dallas Cowboys Over 27 Points @ 13/8

What was is I said earlier? Oh yes, 'This is an offense that has scored over 30 points in all but four of their 13 games.' That I think is a good starting point for our second selection of the night. Dallas put up 33 points against the fantastic Eagles a week ago and with they have cleared the 27-point mark in five straight.

The reason I've gone for 27 rather than say 30 or 33 is there is a possibility of a bit of inclement weather in upstate New York on Sunday. Some light rain is forecast with a bit of wind about. That could cause some throws to go awry and we might not see as many points as say, if this game was in a dome. Yet I really like what Dak and his side are doing when they have the ball and 13/8 for them to get 27+ is a good play.
