Bengals vs Giants Predictions: Cincinnati can record famous win in the Meadowlands

Despite their best efforts, the Cincinnati Bengals have made a shocking start to the 2024 NFL campaign and they will get the chance to improve their playoff chances when they take on the New York Giants on Monday morning (01:20, KO).
Joe Burrow and co have slipped to a 1-4 record after their 41-38 defeat after overtime to the Baltimore Ravens last time out, while the Giants are 2-3 after they beat the Seattle Seahawks 29-20. The Bengals have never beaten the Giants on the road and are 0-4 against them at the MetLife Stadium, but they will feel that they should have too much quality for the Giants this weekend.
Team News
Bengals running backs Zach Moss and Chase Brown were limited in practice for the majority of the week, but Moss has been deemed healthy after returning to full practice on Friday.
Joe Burrow has practised all week, while cornerbacks Mike Hilton and D.J. Ivey have been listed as questionable and doubtful respectively.
Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers will miss out through concussion once again while he is joined on the sidelines by edge rusher Kayvon Thibodeaux.
Despite their poor record at the MetLife against the Giants and their form this season, the Bengals are 1/2 favourites for this weekend's battle.
They are 5/6 to cover the -3.5 handicap, while the points line has been set at 46.5, with odds of 10/11 to cover both sides.
Cincinnati Bengals -3.5 @ 20/23
The Bengals have scored at least 25 points in their last four games but have still been on the losing side three times, having begun their season in poor fashion with a 16-10 defeat to the New England Patriots.
Cincinnati's defence has looked weak and out of ideas at times, but quarterback Joe Burrow continues to shine and is having one of the best starts to a season in his career.
The Giants usually struggle in primetime games, winning just one of their past 14 games under the spotlight.
In contrast, Burrow and co are used to playing on the big stage and their consistent play on offence should be enough to help them cover the handicap.

Total Points - Over 46.5 @ 10/11
Due to Cincinnati's poor defensive form, not since week one has one of their games contained fewer than 51 points and that came in a surprising defeat to the Patriots.
The Bengals have struggled to put pressure on the opposing quarterback all season and their last four points totals have read 51, 71, 58 and 79.
With Burrow under centre, Cincinnati can still rack up the points but the Giants have also shown they are capable of producing scoring drives, bagging a season-high 29 points while picking up 420 yards on offence, without star receiver Malik Nabers, last time out against the Seahawks and they can play their part in pushing up the total on Sunday night.
