The quarter-finals at Wimbledon continue on Wednesday with seven-time men's singles champion Novak Djokovic in action against Alex de Minaur. Elsewhere, 2022 women's singles champion Elena Rybakina takes on Elina Svitolina in what should be an exciting affair.

Also, Taylor Fritz collides with Lorenzo Musetti and I have picked out three selections from these three matches in SW19, which you can find below.

Wimbledon Tips - Wednesday, July 10

  • Set 2 correct score - Novak Djokovic to beat Alex de Minaur 6-4 @ 4/1
  • Elena Rybakina to beat Elina Svitolina 2-1 @ 11/4
  • Taylor Fritz to beat Lorenzo Musetti 3-1 @ 12/5

Set 2 correct score - Novak Djokovic to beat Alex de Minaur 6-4 @ 4/1

Djokovic cruised into the quarter-finals at Wimbledon with a straight-set win over Holger Rune to secure a meeting with Australian De Minaur. The Serbian's vast experience at this Grand Slam will serve him well for this contest as he bids to reach his 13th semi-final at the All England Lawn Club.

He has been playing like you would expect from a person with seven Wimbledon titles and he will of course be a tough opponent for his Australian challenger. Seeing as there isn't much value to be had in backing Djokovic to win this match outright, I've gone for a score prediction of the second set.

The way I see this match going has the Serbian starting strongly and taking the first set. This will then lead to a response from De Minaur in the second, and I do think he will push the Serbian close.

I have gone for Djokovic to win the second set 6-4, just like he did against Rune. It may be unsettling for De Minaur, especially if he falls two sets behind, but with the way he has been playing over the past week I wouldn't be writing him off that early.

Djokovic to win set 2 6-4 at 4/1 Elena Rybakina to beat Elina Svitolina 2-1 @ 11/4

The 2022 women's singles champion Rybakina is looking at her best once again on grass as she pursues a second Wimbledon crown. She is about to face a very tough test in the form of Elina Svitolina, who has been playing excellently herself over the past week

The Ukrainian cruised past two-time Wimbledon finalist and 10th seed Ons Jabeur in straight sets in the third round, before registering another clean sweep against Wang Xinyu in the fourth.

With the momentum she has generated, she can certainly give the Kazakh star a run for her money on Wednesday, and take this match all the way. However, I still think Rybakina will emerge victorious and Svitolina's long wait for a place in a Wimbledon final will continue.

Rybakina's experiences in SW19 should serve as a huge mental boost in this contest, and I think she will be fresher of the two after she received a walkover against Anna Kalinskaya midway through their second set in the previous round. I have her to win 2-1 here.

Elena Rybakina to win 2-1 at 11/4 Taylor Fritz to beat Lorenzo Musetti 3-1 @ 12/5

Everyone has been enjoying Italian Musetti's journey at Wimbledon this summer but sadly I think this is where it will end. Fritz is going to be his sternest test yet and the experience the American has trumps his own in my opinion.

Fritz turned in an incredible performance in a five-set thriller against French Open finalist Alexander Zverev last time out, and it was then you started to think that this could be the year that the 26-year-old could take a giant leap closer to his Grand Slam dream.

The quarter-finals is the best he has achieved at any major to date but I think he can surpass this on Wednesday against Musetti. The young Italian has had to dig deep in each of his four matches at the All England Lawn Club so far, and I struggle to see him toppling Fritz when the American will be high on adrenaline after his latest victory.

I can't see Musetti winning more than one set here so I have gone for Fritz to win 3-1.
