Tennis Betting Tips: Berrettini’s winning run to continue

Tuesday saw me suffer a setback after a largely successful Monday as just one of my three selections landed. No time to mope, though, as we go again for Wednesday. My attention is once again fixated on the Cincinnati Open, with today's selections coming from both the ATP and WTA events.
Below you will find my tennis betting tips for Wednesday, August 14.
Tennis Betting Tips - Wednesday, August 14
Matteo Berrettini to beat Holger Rune 2-0 @ 13/8
Matteo Berrettini has been in fine form of late, winning his last 10 consecutive matches and looking like he is back to playing at his best level. He has plenty of momentum heading into this event and the titles he has claimed in Switzerland and Austria will have him full of confidence.
All those 10 victories were also won in straight sets too, which is why I am confident in backing him to beat Holger Rune 2-0 in this opener in Cincinnati. Rune has never won a match here, which has also played into my thinking, but his general 2024 season has been filled with inconsistency. It's clear that the Dane is still figuring out his best tennis.
There will be no time for that in a match against one of the best-performing players on the circuit right now and I think the wait for a win here to continue for the 21-year-old on Wednesday.
Nuno Borges to beat Adrian Mannarino 2-1 @ 11/4
I tipped Nuno Borges to get past Aleksandar Vukic in his qualifier and Monday, and I am backing the Portuguese star to beat Adrian Mannarino in the first round of the main draw.
Borges has been playing some brilliant tennis recently and he currently holds a career-high ranking of 39. If he can manage another strong week here, he could be pushing for a place inside the top 30 ATP rankings. He has an excellent opportunity to get off to a good start as Mannarino has been in terrible form, losing his last eight matches, as his 2023 form looks like a distant memory.
He will be out to stop the rut, and I do see him picking up a set here as a result, but Borges in three for me.
Emma Navarro to beat Mirra Andreeva 2-0 @ 13/8
Emma Navarro will be looking for a swift response after her semi-final defeat to Amanda Anisimova at the Canadian Open last week when she faces Mirra Andreeva in Cincinnati on Wednesday. If she plays like she did in Toronto, I find it hard to see Andreeva laying a glove on her, and this could be a very short match.
Navarro has been looking sharp since her impressive run at Wimbledon, and she will fancy her chances to go all the way in this event. What is also going against Andreeva here is that this is her first contest of the hard-court season in North America this season, so she could be rusty and Navarro is not the opponent you want to play against in such a match.
