Sunday sees the ATP Washington and WTA Washington finals take place from the William H.G. FitzGerald Tennis Center, and both matches feature in my Tennis Betting Tips for Sunday, July 27.

Set Betting - Alex de Minaur 2-1 vs Alejandro Davidovich Fokina @ 13/5
The final of ATP Washington sees Alejandro Davidovich Fokina going up against world number 13 Alex de Minaur.
Davidovich Fokina will look for his first title of his career in what should be a riveting match in the capital and the pair have split the head-to-head record at 2-2.
As former ATP NextGen stars, these two players first met in 2019 at the NextGen ATP Finals, in a match that De Minaur won. Davidovich Fokina would go on to claim the next two meetings against the Aussie before De Minaur won their latest meeting 6-1 6-3 in Canada two years ago.
De Minaur is a nine-time winner on the ATP Tour and certainly has more experience under his belt heading into Sunday's final but Davidovich Fokina has played some of the best tennis of his career this week, enjoying wins over Taylor Fritz and Ben Shelton.
Davidovich Fokina is long overdue to claim a maiden ATP title but I'm siding with De Minaur - he's one of the game’s top returners, and he’ll be able to capitalise on Davidovich Fokina’s inconsistent serve.
This one will go the distance, so I'm backing the Aussie to win in three sets.

Set Betting - Anna Kalinskaya 2-1 vs Leylah Fernandez @ 16/5
The final of WTA Washington pits Leylah Fernandez against Anna Kalinskaya in a clash of unseeded players vying for a significant WTA 500 title.
This match marks Kalinskaya's first final of the season after a difficult first six months of the calendar year, and she's made the final in Washington without dropping a set. She booked her place in the final by beating Britain's Emma Raducanu in convincing fashion, and she is chasing her first WTA singles title, having lost the last two finals; she will hope the third time's the charm.
Fernandez overcame a gruelling three-hour contest with Elena Rybakina in her semi-final tie, and the Canadian is in her seventh career final and first of the season. The 22-year-old is looking to win a first title since 2023 and fourth overall.
These two met earlier this season, where Fernandez retired mid-match after losing a close first set, and I think Kalinskaya's ability to be aggressive from the baseline and dictate points gives her the edge here.
It should be a closely-fought contest but I think Kalinskaya edges it.
