Tennis Betting Tips: Top two to set up another ‘Sincaraz’ final at the US Open

We've reached the semi-final stage of the Men's Singles at the 2025 US Open, with three former champions - Novak Djokovic (x4), Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner (reigning) - all still in contention for the title, alongside Felix Auger-Aliassime.
The two semi-finals from Flushing Meadows both feature in Friday's Tennis Betting Tips, and combining the two #PickYourPunt selections pays out at 4.25/1.
Tennis Betting Tips - Friday, September 5
- #PickYourPunt - Carlos Alcaraz (ESP) to serve 10 or more aces vs Novak Djokovic (SER) @ 1/1
- #PickYourPunt - Jannik Sinner (ITA) to win a point in every Felix Auger-Aliassime (CAN) service game @ 13/8
Double @ 4.25/1

#PickYourPunt - Carlos Alcaraz (ESP) to serve 10 or more aces vs Novak Djokovic (SER) @ 1/1
Four-time US Open champion Djokovic may not be in the prime of his career, but by beating Taylor Fritz (6-3, 7-5, 3-6, 6-4) in the quarter-finals earlier this week, he became, at the age of 37 years and 94 days, the oldest player in the Open Era to reach all four Men’s Singles semi-finals at Grand Slam events in a season.
The Serbian is in search of a record 25th major that would take him clear of Australia's Margaret Court, and he arrives to Friday's final-four contest with Alcaraz boasting a 5-3 record against the Spaniard, 3-0 on hard courts.
Djokovic won their only previous meeting of the calendar year, in the quarter-finals of the Australian Open on January 21, beating the now-22-year-old in four sets (4-6, 6-4, 6-3, 6-4).
Still, Alcaraz is considered the big favourite to progress to his third Grand Slam final of 2025, as he looks to double up at the US Open, following his 2022 success in Flushing Meadows.
I'm backing Alcaraz to win on Friday, but there's little value to be had in doing so, while I'm hesitant on how many sets it will require to oust Djokovic.
Instead, I'm looking to the #PickYourPunt market, where Alcaraz to serve 10 or more aces is priced up at 1/1.
This has been a winning bet in all three previous head-to-heads on hard courts, despite Djokovic prevailing in each of them.
At the Cincinnati Open final in August 2023, when Djokovic won 5-7, 7-6, 7-6, Alcaraz served 11 aces, and despite the Serbian triumphing against the Spaniard in two sets (6-3, 6-2) at the ATP Finals in Turin in November of the same year, the World No. 2 still recorded 10 aces.
More recently, at this year's Australian Open, Alcaraz served 10.
Granted, Alcaraz hasn't served more than nine aces in a single match at the 2025 US Open, but he's yet to be truly tested at the tournament, winning his first five contests in straight sets.
Against more illustrious opposition, he may well raise his service game, as he did at the Cincinnati Open last month, when he served 11 aces in the quarter-finals against ninth seed Andrey Rublev (6-3, 4-6, 7-5) and the same number in the semi-finals against third seed Alexander Zverev (6-4, 6-3).
Djokovic, meanwhile, was aced 12 times by Fritz in the US Open quarters.

#PickYourPunt - Jannik Sinner (ITA) to win a point in every Felix Auger-Aliassime (CAN) service game @ 13/8
Like Alcaraz, World No. 1 and reigning US Open champion Sinner is in terrific form, dropping just one set en route to Friday's semi-final showdown with Auger-Aliassime, who he dismantled 6-0, 6-2 in the Cincinnati Open quarter-finals last month.
Auger-Aliassime will be buoyed by Wednesday's victory over number eight seed Alex de Minaur (4-6, 7-6, 7-5, 7-5), which came after third and fourth-round victories over third and 15th seed opponents Zverev (4-6, 7-6, 6-4, 6-4) and Rublev (7-5, 6-3, 6-4), respectively, but the scars remain from the Canadian's previous encounter with Sinner, which was less than four weeks ago.
Sinner swept past Auger-Aliassime in Cincinnati, bagelling the 25-year-old in the first set and winning three of his opponent's service games in the second. Furthermore, in the only service game the Canadian won, Sinner held a break point.
The Italian broke Lorenzo Musetti's serve five times in his 6-1, 6-4, 6-2 quarter-finals victory over his compatriot earlier this week, only failing to win a point in one of the 10th seed's service games.
Sinner to win a point in every Terence Atmane service game was a 2/1 #PickYourPunt winner in last month's Cincinnati Open semi-finals betting tips, and I'm backing the 24-year-old to repeat that feat on Friday against Auger-Aliassime.
