It's day nine at Roland-Garros and the shocks have kept on coming, particularly in the men's side of the tournament, as there are just five of the top 16 seeds left in the running for the second Slam of the season.

Below I've picked out my Tennis Betting Tips for 1 June 2026, which both focus on the men's draw.

Set Betting - Felix Auger-Aliassime 3-1 (vs Alejandro Tabilo) @ 3/1

I incorrectly predicted fourth seed Felix Auger-Aliassime to lose in the opening round of the French Open last week, but the Canadian has made hard work of it to get to this point.

The 25-year-old beat Daniel Altmaier in five sets in that aforementioned opening-round contest before enjoying two consecutive wins in four sets to book a fourth-round tie with Alejandro Tabilo. One area of encouragement for the Chilean is that Auger-Aliassime has lost the opening set in every match he's played at the tournament so far.

While the French Open is far from the Canadian's favourite major, he should have enough in the tank to overcome Tabilo. However, he's not made easy work of his first three opponents in Paris.

I like the price of 3/1 for Tabilo to get a set on the board and Auger-Aliassime to win in four sets.

Match Betting - Juan Manuel Cerundolo to beat Matteo Berrettini @ 5/4

Juan Manuel Cerundolo has the chance to claim another Italian scalp after his shock win over Jannik Sinner in round two, and I'm predicting him to do just that.

It's worth noting that Cerundolo has been taken to five sets in his last two matches - the most recent of those, against Martin Landaluce, lasted five hours and 57 minutes, which is the third-longest match in the tournament's history.

However, Berrettini was also involved in a five-set battle on Saturday, saving two match points against Francisco Comesana, before dispatching the Argentine in just over five hours.

This match marks the Italian's furthest run at a Slam in three years, which is why I'm siding with Cerundolo here at 5/4, which looks the value play to me here. Berrettini has been absent from this stage for so long, and he's come through a few bruising battles to reach this point, that I fear his body may have reached its limit.
