French Open Betting Tips: Tauson to claim another big scalp

It's day eight of the French Open on Sunday and there are some big fourth-round clashes taking place across both the men's and women's draws.
Iga Swiatek and Coco Gauff are both in action on the women's side, while Stefanos Tsitsipas and Jannik Sinner headline the men's section in what promises to be another enthralling day's action at Roland Garros, as highlighted in my French Open betting tips below.
French Open Betting Tips - Sunday, June 2
Clara Tauson to beat Ons Jabeur @ 6/5
With defeats in three Grand Slam finals (Wimbledon twice and the US Open), Ons Jabeur will be wondering if she will ever win one of the 'big four' events and her time at Roland Garros could be coming to an early end this year.
The Tunisian was forced to three sets by Camila Osorio in round two before being made to work by Leylah Fernandez last time out, coming through 6-4 7-6.
Jabeur has never gone past the quarter-final stage here and she faces a stern test against Denmark's rising star Clara Tauson, who has already picked up some big scalps.
The 21-year-old defeated 2017 French Open champion Jelena Ostapenko in round two before ousting another Grand Slam winner in round three, 2020 Australian Open supremo Sofia Kenin.
Tauson is enjoying her best run at a Grand Slam and she is worth taking on to get the better of Jabeur, who has not been at her usual high standard thus far in Paris.
Olga Danilovic +1.5 set handicap vs Marketa Vondrousova @ 5/6
Another fourth-round tie in the women's draw pits qualifier Olga Danilovic against reigning Wimbledon champion Marketa Vondrousova, who has struggled at Roland Garros in recent years.
The 24-year-old Czech did reach the final here in 2019, losing out to Ashleigh Barty, but she has failed to get past the fourth round in her three efforts since and her serve, which is a huge asset on other surfaces, is less effective on clay.
Danilovic secured a huge win in round two when dispatching 11th seed Danielle Collins and she kept the momentum going against Donna Vekic, beating the Croatian in three sets.
The Serbian is in uncharted territory, having never gone this far at a Grand Slam, but she is full of confidence and looks a solid bet with a +1.5 set handicap.
Corentin Moutet +2.5 set handicap vs Jannik Sinner @ 5/4
Second seed Jannik Sinner has quashed any worries about his fitness heading into this tournament after recording three straight-sets victories in a row.
The Italian has already knocked out one home favourite in Richard Gasquet and he will have to deal with a hostile crowd again when he takes on Corentin Moutet, who knocked out 16th seed Nicolas Jarry in round one.
Moutet will have the full support of the Roland Garros crowd behind him and he could prove to be a tricky customer for Sinner, who doesn't have a stellar record against left-handers.
Sinner's win-loss record against lefties reads 15-8 and although he should have enough quality to come through this contest, Moutet is capable of grabbing a set at least, making him an appealing prospect on the handicap.
