I’m a Celebrity Next Eviction Odds: Who will be the sixth to depart?

We've had our first shock elimination. Hot favourite to be the fifth departee Martin Kemp survived - but camp favourite Ruby Wax did not. She skipped off into the Aussie sunset (ish) courtesy of the viewers' votes, or lack thereof.

Time for number six to cross the bridge. Now it's really hotting up. Nothing can be taken for granted ... on I'm A Celebrity - Get Me Out Of Here!

Prices accurate at time of publication and can of course fluctuate

I did say in several previous pieces that there would come a time when the identity of the next celebrity to be eliminated would potentially be harder to predict, after the initial parade of departees very much followed what the market was anticipating.

All that speculation indeed came to pass yesterday with Ruby exiting the stage, and heavily-backed Martin surprisingly remaining in situ. Before pontificating further let's remind ourselves of the campers who are still in the hunt, and what their prices are to be evicted tonight - which will be the sixth elimination.

Martin Kemp 4/7, Lisa Riley 6/4, Shona McGarty 8/1, Jack Osbourne 10/1, Tom Read Wilson 20/1, Angryginge 40/1, Aitch 66/1.

Martin once again is our favourite to be the next to leave, but he's not trading as short as he was for yesterday's exit. It's to be assumed that fans of the Spandau Ballet legend have firmly got behind their man, and could well do so once again today.

That brings into focus in particular Lisa, our second-favourite to leave today at 6/4, and I wonder if time might be about to be called on the Emmerdale star? All will be revealed this evening.

What's equally fascinating is the volatility we're seeing in the outright betting - to win the show. There's still a Mancunian flavour at the head of the market with now Aitch our firm 'jolly' at 6/5, with Angry Ginge a now generous-looking 11/4 - so the favourites have flip-flopped. Then it's Tom (9/2), Jack (7s), Shona (12/1), Lisa (66/1), and finally Martin (100/1).

I wonder if milk bottle gate is, or might, be having some effect? You'll recall that on a previous dingo dollar foray Kelly, Aitch and Angry Ginge sneakily scoffed some milk bottle chews they'd won, and as a consequence returned to camp with a limited number to share out between their compardres - just one each.

The departing Kelly revealed this crime as her leaving, parting shot, and the boys concocted a quick tale to admit to a smaller indiscretion which hasn't seemed to antagonise their campmates as much as the truth would undoubtedly have done.

So - will the great British public react, regarding their voting intentions? Will the northern rascals haemorrhage support because of what might be seen as their selfish, brazen behaviour? Perhaps the opposite will be true, and their maverick heroes can truly do no wrong?

We always make the point that market forces - you, the great British public - can effect market fluctuations and changes, just like those that have taken place in recent days. Nothing can be taken for granted. It's everything to play for time. There wouldn't be anything other than a worthy winner out of all the remaining celebs, and it's going to be fascinating to see which way the pig's anus crumbles; or something like that.

Sixth elimination, ITV tonight, 21:00. Enjoy.
