  • 2 pts Ryan Day 0 Centuries vs Ronnie O'Sullivan @ 19/10

The final match of the last-16 gets underway on Sunday morning with tournament favourite Ronnie O’Sullivan taking on Ryan Day.

O’Sullivan looked good in his opening round win over Jackson Page, with a clinical performance punishing the majority of Page’s mistakes and running away with the match to win 10-1.

Day trailed Hawkins 8-5 and played well to win the last five frames, he made one century in the 10 frames he won, with a next highest break of 78.

In ranking events this season, Day has only made 13 centuries, averaging one every 19.9 frames. The majority of these have been made against players low down in the rankings too, with four against John Astley in qualifying.

The handicap line here is 6.5 meaning Day is expected to win around seven frames, considering he’s only averaged one century per every 10.8 frames won this season, odds of 19/10 look a little big for him to fail to make one here.

Last season he was beaten by Kyren Wilson in the first round with no centuries made.

O’Sullivan has had plenty of dominant wins this season, including a recent 10-2 against Carter and if he continues his recent form here, Day’s chances for centuries could be few and far between.

Ryan Day no centuries at 19-10
