Brumbies vs Waratahs Prediction: Brumbies can run wild in Canberra

Saturday's (10:35, Sky Sports Mix) Super Rugby Pacific action concludes with an all-Australian derby as the Brumbies host the Waratahs in Canberra. Despite last week's 35-29 home defeat to the Hurricanes, the Brumbies began Round 12 third on the ladder, five places and eight points ahead of the Waratahs, who failed to kick on from their 21-14 win over competition leaders Chiefs as they went down 28-14 to the Drua.
The 'Tahs were 28-23 winners when the pair met on March 22, snapping a 13-game losing streak against the Brumbies in the process. However, they haven't won on the road in a year and have a habit of conceding big points totals on their trips to GIO Stadium.

The Brumbies are 2/7 to win for the third time at home in 2025, with the Waratahs 3/1 and a rare tie 22/1.
Team News
The Brumbies have made just one change from the defeat to the Hurricanes and it comes in the back-row, where Rory Scott replaces Luke Reimer at openside flanker.
There is also a tweak on the bench, with Lington Leli replacing Rhys van Nek as the reserve loosehead prop.
The Waratahs are boosted by the return of captain and scrum-half Jake Gordon.
Fellow Wallabies Angus Bell, Rob Leota, and Taniela Tupou are also back after missing the defeat to the Drua, while Langi Gleeson is promoted from the bench to start at number eight.
Brumbies -13 @ 5/4
The Brumbies have won the last seven meetings with the Waratahs at the GIO Stadium and usually triumph in style.
They have tallied 40+ points in four of the last six of those games and have limited the Waratahs to just one try in three of the last five clashes in Canberra.
The 'Tahs have failed to win away from home in over a year and, having lost two of their last four on their own patch, this looks like an excellent chance for the Brumbies to improve their record.
Stephen Larkham's side have scored the fourth-most points in the competition and can run up another big score against their Australian rivals.

Andy Muirhead last try scorer @ 15/2
Brumbies' wing Andy Muirhead scored the final try in March's meeting in Sydney and also in last weekend's defeat to the Hurricanes, and is in frightening form.
The 31-year-old has notched seven tries in his last nine Super Rugby Pacific games and could go over late again.
That score a couple of months ago was also his sixth career try against the Waratahs, making them his second-favourite opponents, having gone over seven times against the Force.
The Queenslander may not be the youngest but he is in the type of form that might see him earn a Wallaby call-up for this summer's series against the British & Irish Lions.
