Warrington Wolves vs Wakefield Trinity Prediction: Handicap adds value on the visitors

Warrington are back at the Halliwell Jones Stadium licking their wounds following that public mauling at the hands of champions Wigan in Las Vegas, and face a Wakefield side who have impressed on their return to Super League (Kick-off 1pm on Sunday).
The Wolves may have wagged their tail late on in Vegas to put a few pints on the board, but they will be hurting from that loss and will need a big and immediate response against a hungry looking Trinity.

Warrington Wolves vs Wakefield Trinity Odds
The Wolves are 1/7 to prevail inside 80 minutes, while Trinity are 5/1 to get the victory. The draw is marketed at 20/1.
Team News
Warrington are without two key men after their nightmare in Las Vegas. England winger Matty Ashton, who scored a length-of-the-field intercept try at the final hooter, is out of the game with a foot injury.
His absence is even more of a blow given the groin injury that rules out centre Toby King, so the Wolves' left edge is going to look unfamiliar.
PNG centre Rodrick Tai has gone on dual-registration to Widnes but could be back involved, so too youngster Jake Thewlis and Alfie Johnson could be in line for a debut on the wing.
Forward Lachlan Fitzgibbon suffered a rib injury in Vegas but is named in the squad.
Wakefield have won once in their first three games but been way better than that suggests. Boss Darryl Powell makes two changes to his squad with French forward Mathieu Cozza and Jayden Myers both coming in. Cozza is fit again for his first involvement after an achilles injury.
The two men to drop out are Thomas Doyle who picked up a foot injury in the loss to St Helens last week, and Josh Rourke.
Handicap 2-way: Wakefield 14.5 @ 5/6
I have no idea what happened to Warrington in Vegas but Sam Burgess and co were absolutely torn apart by a rampant Wigan. Jai Field continued his rich vein of form to land our anytime try scorer bet in that one, while our punt on Wigan to score the first and last tries of the match also looked nailed until Ashton's sensational long-range try in the final seconds.
So how will Warrington recover from the trip and the defeat, and can Wakefield earn an unlikely second win of their season.
My gut is that Trinity will have a really good go at this, but it might not be enough. Wakefield were excellent in victory at Leeds, and unfortunate to come away with nothing against Hull KR. They were well beaten by St Helens last weekend.
Throw in the Darryl Powell factor and they will be desperate to produce an upset at the ground where the head coach had such a torrid time in charge of Warrington.
Can Wakefield win this? I'm not sure, but I do like the handicap, and a 14-point start does appeal.

Tom Johnstone anytime try scorer @ 6/4
I'm still waiting for Johnstone to catch fire since his move back to Wakefield from Catalans.
Given Warrington's absentees down their left edge I fancy this could be a good chance for the England winger to find a bit of scoring form.
All of the usual suspects from Warrington are of course worth a look - I would be tipping Matt Dufty and George Williams this week, but if Wakefield are going to make a game of this then Johnstone is well worth a look.
