The final day of the NRL’s 2026 Magic Round at Suncorp Stadium begins when the Gold Coast Titans face the Newcastle Knights on Sunday (14:00 local, 05:00 BST, Sky Sports Action).

Justin Holbrook’s Knights are back in form, racking up 40 points in back-to-back games, while Gold Coast haven’t won since hammering the Eels in early April. Below are my Titans vs Knights predictions, full team news and Betfred’s match odds.

Titans vs Knights Odds

The Knights are huge favourites on the back of their recent wins, with Betfred implying a 73.3% probability by pricing them at 4/11.

The Titans are 23/10 for the victory, while the draw can be backed at 18/1.

Greg Marzhew is the favourite to cross for the game’s opening try. The Newcastle winger is 6/1 to be the first over the line after scoring five last week in the mauling of the Dragons.

Titans boos Josh Hannay makes a single change to the starting line-up after last Friday’s loss to the Roosters in Gosford.

Moeaki Fotuaika is brought into the front row, with Klese Haas moved to the bench.

Luke Sommerton replaces Sam Verrills among the interchange options.

Holbrook also goes with a steady line-up, backing the same 17 which swiped the feckless Dragons in Round 10.

Cody Hopwood and Harrison Graham are the two names added to make up to the extended 19-man squad.

I’ve liked the look of the Knights for the vast majority of this season. In fact, it’s been rare that I’ve watched a Holbrook-coached side and not enjoyed myself.

Newcastle have plenty of strike weapons too, with Marzhew in great form having scored eight tries in two games and Dom Young regaining his form with a pair last week.

I do believe the Titans can keep it close though, having at least tightened up their defence this season if if Hannay has been unable to coax much out of them with ball in hand.

As such, that 23/10 about the Knights winning by a score or two is my pick for game six of the weekend jamboree. The price carries an implied probability of 30.3%.

Dominic Young First Tryscorer @ 13/2

Having scored a hat-trick against the Rabbitohs and a fabulous five in last week’s win over the Dragons, Greg Marzhew is in sensational form.

But those eight tries make him an unbackable 2/5 to score at any time, and Dom Young is the same price on the opposite wing.

I can see both scoring, and the pair are the Knights’ trendsetters with 24 tries between them already. So I think the fair bet is to go for the first across the line.

It’s a coin toss between the two of them, so with Marzhew 6/1 and Young 13/2, I’m going for the value selection of the two and tipping the England flyer to open the scoring.
