Huddersfield Giants vs Toulouse Prediction: Giants to triumph in Dewsbury despite OAB

Two of Betfred Super League's strugglers lock horns at the Flair Stadium in Dewsbury on Saturday afternoon as the rock-bottom Huddersfield Giants host new boys Toulouse Olympique with the two sides having won just five times between them all season (Kick off 3pm, Sky Sports+).
Huddersfield have lost five on the spin heading into what feels like a must-win game against their French opponents, who have lost their last two since a fantastic away win at Hull FC. Below are my Huddersfield Giants vs Toulouse predictions, Betfred's match odds and all the latest team news.

Team News
Huddersfield have not had the greatest of seasons with injuries to say the least, but things might be starting to look up.
Returning this weekend is rising star George Flanagan Jr., and the Giants have really missed the young full-back.
Also back in the mix are four other big names. Prop Tom Burgess, centre Taane Milne, Connor Wrench and Asher O’Donnell are all named in the squad.
Toulouse brought in Australian John Toleafoa this week from Albi in France and he could make his debut.
Handicap 3-Way Alternative 1: Huddersfield -4 @ 8/13
I quite like this match-up for both sides, which is admittedly a little unhelpful when it comes to predictions.
I feel these two teams are better than their lowly league positions. Huddersfield have been derailed by injuries and the sacking of their head coach, while Toulouse have put some brilliant bits together but struggled to do so for 80 minutes. And that is a huge Achilles heel at this level.
That said, anyone who watched Huddersfield’s 52-0 loss at Leeds would be backing Toulouse here. The Giants were atrocious and haven’t won since the start of April.
The outcome of this one could hinge on how many of Huddersfield’s stars are fit to feature. Toulouse will make this a really intense game and will travel with the view that it is a very winnable fixture.
I’m expecting a close game but the Giants can edge a much-needed win if they have enough big-name bodies back on the pitch.

Olly Ashall-Bott Anytime Tryscorer @ 6/4
Olympique full-back Olly Ashall-Bott scores tries in a losing side. That is the sign of a very good player and he remains a consistent danger to Super League defences.
He has nine so far including four in his last three games. He and Frenchman Mathieu Jussaume (2/1) are the two key players for Sylvain Houles’ team.
For the Giants to win, good service to top scorer Jacob Gagai (10/11) is key, while if Flanagan (10/11) is fit to start he can be a match-winner on his own.
