Rabbitohs vs Broncos Prediction: Jai Arrow to be honoured with Bunnies home win

Jai Arrow will be honoured on an emotional night at Accor Stadium on Thursday when the South Sydney Rabbitohs host the Brisbane Broncos in the NRL Premiership (7:50pm local, 10:50am BST, Sky Sports Action).
The Souths pack star was forced to retire in May after being diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease, and the club have laid on a special occasion in their first home game since the bombshell news. My Rabbitohs vs Broncos predictions are below, complete with the latest team news and match odds from Betfred.

The Bunnies are favourites for this one against the slumping champions, with Betfred pricing Souths at 8/15 for the win. That carries an implied 65.2% probability.
Brisbane are 13/8 to snap a five-game losing streak, while the draw in noemal time is 16/1.
Team News
It’s going to be a slightly-changed Rabbitohs that steps out at the Olympic Park, with Cameron Murray missing through Origin duty and Campbell Graham having sustained a calf problem.
Tallis Duncan will move from the pack into the centres, Lachlan Hubner comes into the starting XI at loose forward, and Euan Aitken is promoted to second row.
In a wonderful touch, 30-year-old Arrow has been named as Number 23 in the extended squad as an emotional gesture.
The Bronx are a very different-looking side, and coach Michael Maguire will hope to see a change in fortune as well as personnel.
Reece Walsh, Kotoni Staggs and Payne Haas are all out ahead of Game II on Wednesday night, so in come Hayze Perham, Antonio Verhoeven and Jordan Riki. Jack Gosiewski is named in the front row, with Riki named in the second row in his return from a foot problem.
Rabbitohs by 1-12 @ 21/10
Champions though they are, I just can’t back the Broncos at the minute.
On course to become the first reigning Premiers in 20 years to miss the play-offs, Maguire’s troops look battered. Defeats to the Roosters, Manly and Warriors are one thing, but losses against the likes of the Dragons and Titans are just incomprehensible.
There is also the emotional element. Accor ought to be charged to the max as the Bunnies pay homage to Jai Arrow, and that – I believe – will carry them home.
For the Broncos, the response will have to wait another couple of weeks.

Jye Gray Anytime Tryscorer @ 5/4
This should be a high-scoring fixture, and the value is in finding a potential tryscorer who is likely to have their hands on the ball a fair amount.
Jye Gray has returned from a period out injured to decent effect, and if the Bunnies can get the back division clicking then he can cross for a Rabbitohs attack averaging 29.45 points per game this season.
