Leigh Leopards vs Warrington Wolves Prediction: Hosts’ good form can continue

It's third against eighth in the Betfred Super League on Friday night (20:00 BST, Sky Sports+) as title-chasing Leigh host a Warrington Wolves side in desperate need of a win just to try and force their way into the playoff picture.
Warrington have won two of their three games in July but will be stinging from their defeat at lowly Castleford last time out, while Leigh are on a three-match winning run and making a big push at the top of the table.

Team News
Leigh have a big man back in the form of England prop Robbie Mulhern and he is the only change to the squad from last time out.
Full-back David Armstrong is out for the season and Darnell McIntosh is still out too.
Warrington boss Sam Burgess has hooker Danny Walker back from injury while young half-back Leon Hayes is named for the first time all season after his long-term injury.
NRL signing Ryan Matterson is also included after his arrival on loan and is set for his Wolves debut.
Leigh Leopards vs Warrington Wolves Odds
Leigh are the 2/5 favourites to win this clash, while it's 21/10 for Warrington Wolves to take the victory. The draw after 80 minutes is on offer at 18/1.
Handicap 3-way: Leigh Leopards -8 @ 1/1
These are usually really good games between two entertaining teams but the form Leigh are in I have to fancy Adriam Lam's men.
The Leopards have been brilliant since losing to Leeds, beating the top two in Hull KR and Wigan and now fancy a place in the top two themselves.
Warrington remain an odd side to predict. I'm convinced they are a better team than their league position suggests and would expect them to mount some sort of challenge for the playoffs. But then they go and lose at Castleford as they did last time out and you wonder what is going on at the club.
I think they will have a go in this one but I feel Leigh are too strong, and the return of Mulhern makes them even stronger.
Leigh have won their last four home meetings with Warrington, although the two meetings this season have seen a narrow win apiece.
These tend to be really close games, with the last four meetings all decided by less than 8 points. However I have the Leopards to win by a couple of scores in this one, purely because of their current form.

Edwin Ipape anytime tryscorer @ 9/4
There's plenty of choice in the tryscorer market this week and we are also offering Super League Double Delight whereby if your player scores the first try of the match and goes on to score again we will double your first tryscorer price.
I'm sticking with the anytime scorer market however, because I'm a little bit boring. For Warrington my favourite choices this year have been George Williams and Matt Dufty - you can get talisman Williams at 9/4 for a try in this game, with livewire full-back Dufty a 6/4 shot. The Thewlis brothers on the wing are always worth a look too. Josh is the more reliable, and is 6/5, with Jake 5/4.
For Leigh we should be looking at Umyla Hanley at 5/4 and of course former Wolves winger Josh Charnley who leads the market at 4/5.
But my favourite Leopards tip this year has been powerhouse hooker Edwin Ipape. He is always good odds for a try and is always sniffing around for one near the line. I like the 9/4 about Ipape to power over in this one.
