After the agony of a last-gasp Betfred Challenge Cup final defeat last weekend, Warrington have no time to lick their wounds as Betfred Super League continues with a daunting trip to AMT Headingley to face in-form Leeds on Saturday (17:30, live on Sky Sports Action).

Read on for our rugby league expert George Riley's Leeds Rhinos vs Warrington Wolves predictions, complete with the latest odds and team news.

Leeds Rhinos vs Warrington Wolves Odds

The in-form hosts are strongly fancied to gain another two points on Saturday, trading at 1/4 with Betfred at time of publication.

Warrington are 3/1 to put the Wembley heartbreak behind them, while it's 20/1 about the draw.

Leading the tryscorer markets is Leeds' Riley Lumb, who's 7/1 to score the opener and 4/6 to cross anytime.

Team News

Leeds have experienced hooker Andy Ackers back in their squad for the first time since March and youngster Alfie Edgell also returns for his first appearance since Magic Weekend.

Those are the only two changes made by coach Brad Arthur, who leaves out youngsters Ethan Clark-Wood and Presley Cassell.

Warrington are without their star full-back Matt Dufty after fracturing his eye socket. He may only be out a couple of weeks but the Australian does require surgery.

His absence is a big one, but the good news was the return at Wembley of talisman George Williams and he has shown no ill-effects to keep his place in the squad.

Dufty's place in the squad goes to Tom Whitehead, but his place on the pitch is likely to go to one of the Thewlis brothers or the experience of Stefan Ratchford.

Leeds -10 @ 21/20

Backing up the week after Wembley is traditionally tough, and this is one of the worst possible fixtures for Warrington to try and bounce back from the sickening disappointment of letting a famous win slip from their grasp in the closing moments against Hull KR last weekend.

Followers of this column will know that I tend to struggle with confidence when backing Leeds, but I feel pretty confident they will have too much for the wounded Wolves in front of a boisterous crowd at Headingley.

Leeds were really easing up through the gears before the Wembley break and will hope they can pick up where they left off in a month of May that yielded four wins out of four.

Warrington fans will just hope that they can bottle the level of performance that their team produced at Wembley - and if they can repeat it here then it will be a cracker.

I find it hard to believe that Sam Burgess's side will get up to that standard again so soon after losing a Cup final, and I have Leeds to win this by a couple of scores.

One of the most impressive aspects of the Rhinos' run of form has been their resolute defence and with the cutting edge of Jake Connor, Lachie Miller, Riley Lumb and Ryan Hall they are proving very hard to beat.

The recent form favours Warrington who grabbed a two-point win early this season at the Halliwell Jones Stadium and won all three meetings between the sides last year. But this feels the right time for Leeds to nip that poor run against the Wolves in the bud.

A Leeds win here will be a real statement of their top-four credentials.

Riley Lumb - Anytime Tryscorer @ 4/6

Leeds have another rising star on the wing at Headingley in the shape of Riley Lumb, with the experienced head of Ryan Hall on the other wing. These two are proving a potent double act and I would fancy both here.

If you fancy a Warrington try or two then I would be looking at the Thewlis brothers Jake (7/4) and Josh (6/4) but I'm going with Leeds to sparkle and as such I will be backing their wingers to come up trumps.

With 9 Super League tries to his name this year, Lumb is fast-becoming the Rhinos most dangerous attacking weapon.
