Knights vs Roosters Odds

The Roosters are the market leaders with Betfred, with 8/13 offered on an away win.

Justin Holbrook’s Knights are 7/5 to pick up the two points inside 80 minutes, with a draw in normal time 16/1.

Team News

There’s no Dane Gagai for the Knights, with the centre missing due to a calf injury.

Fletcher Hunt comes in in a straight swap, while Cody Hopwood is called up to the bench after overcoming a calf problem of his own.

Rugby League Odds

Trent Robinson has the luxury of James Tedesco coming back following his concussion lay-off after Game III of the State of Origin series.

Rob Toia also returns, so Cody Ramsey and Hugo Savala drop down to the bench to allow for the two additions.

Knights to win @ 7/5

While I initially looked at making the most of the Knights’ four-point handicap advantage in the three-way market at 20/21, I fancy the greater value that backing Newcastle outright brings.

The Knights have won five straight home games since their heavy reverse to the then-runaway Panthers in April, and it would take an almighty effort for the Roosters to end that run.

This should be one hell of a contest, and of the two sides I feel more confident in backing Newcastle to take the points here on the back of Greg Marzhew and Dom Young causing problems out wide.

Greg Marzhew Anytime Tryscorer @ EVENS

Speaking of Marzhew, the flying winger was back in form last week in the narrow defeat to the Sharks.

His two tries took his tally to 17 in 17 matches so far in 2026, and in that context the even-money price about him keeping up that try-a-game record is huge.
