Hull FC vs St Helens Prediction: In-form Saints to go again

Victory over Salford last weekend saw St Helens move up to fifth on the Betfred Super League table - and they'll be hoping to climb at least another position when visiting Hull FC on Saturday afternoon (15:00, live on Sky Sports +).
Saints legend Paul Sculthorpe is here with his Hull FC vs St Helens predictions.
As expected, it was one-way traffic for the Saints against a sorry Salford on Sunday.
However, as Wello said afterwards, it was as strong a side as the Red Devils have put out this season. Despite that, it was a very professional Saints victory.
The visitors tried their best to hang on. They were only 8-0 down after 32 minutes, but the next eight saw the home side cross twice to go 20-0 up. A further 38 uninterrupted points were scored in the second half.
Kyle Feldt helped himself to a hat-trick, and his seventh try against Salford in the space of three weeks. The ever-impressing Owen Dagnall continued his rise on the left wing. He scored his fourth try in his third consecutive appearance in the starting lineup. He's making a strong case to keep the spot his own.
The side is obviously missing a number of first-choice players such as Percival, Sironen and Welsby, but I think this has definitely inspired some players to step their game up.
Tristan Sailor, back in the full-back role, has turned in some great performances in the last couple of weeks. He looks like he’s got his confidence back and his attacking threat, certainly down the right flank, has bolstered the Saints attack.
Another player I love seeing back out there is Harry Robertson. I have no doubts this kid is going to the very top. Everything about his game is quality, and as he matures physically he’s going to be unstoppable.
I’m clearly not the only person impressed with Harry. England gaffer Shaun Wane has called both him and the equally-impressive George Delaney up to his initial 32-man England squad, ahead of this autumn's Ashes Series against Australia. Both players truly deserve their call up.
It was great to see Waney select on form, including a number of other potential debutants. Leigh’s Owen Trout, Rhinos backrow duo James McDonnell and Morgan Gannon and Hull KR’s James Batchelor also make the train-on squad.
Jack Welsby has also been included despite being out with a long-term injury. Matty Lees and Darryl Clark make up the other Saints to feature.
This week's fixtures could have a significant bearing on the play-off spots and the race for the League Leaders' Shield, as the top six all play each other this weekend.
It’s fourth against second in a battle of the borough as Leigh Leopards face Wigan Warriors on Friday. Then, on Saturday, the fifth-placed Saints travel to Hull FC, who are just below them on the ladder.
The Hull FC vs St Helens Odds are as follows: Hull FC 17/10, St Helens 1/2 and the draw 18/1.
This will be a significant test for Paul Wellens' side, who travel in confidence after winning five of their last six fixtures.
John Cartwright will be looking for his Hull FC players to bounce back after a disappointing 24-10 defeat to Warrington.
I’m going for a Saints win by 11 points or more - and a potential jump to third in the Betfred Super League table if results go our way!
