Castleford are licking their wounds this week following last week's defeat at crisis-club Salford, and welcome a Warrington side to The Jungle who need to find a bit of form to reignite their playoff push. (Kick-off 3pm)

The Wolves scraped home in France against Catalans Dragons last week but will be well-backed to win again at the home of the troubled Tigers.

Team News

Warrington head coach Sam Burgess makes one change to the squad who secured a dramatic win last weekend at Catalans.

Forward James Harrison drops out of the squad and is replaced by youngster Ewan Irwin, presumably as cover for Marc Sneyd who left the field in France feeling his groin.

Centre Toby King didn't feature last week but keeps his place in the squad.

The Tigers are unchanged, and have Chris Chester again overseeing things following the sacking of head coach Danny McGuire.

A difficult season for Cas hit a new low last week with defeat at rock-bottom Salford.

Castleford Tigers vs Warrington Wolves Odds

Castleford are 7/2 to grab the victory on Sunday, while Warrington are the favourites at 2/9. The draw in 80 minutes can be backed at 20/1.

Handicap 3-way: Castleford Tigers 12 @ 20/21

Warrington should win this quite easily but it is actually a tricky one to call given how they have been playing. Castleford losing at Salford last week obviously highlights the Tigers as this week's whipping boys, but in truth Salford should also have beaten Warrington the week before but came up just short.

So there might not be as much between these two sides this weekend as most will think. Don't get me wrong, the Wolves should have more than enough to win this game, especially is Sneyd is fit.

But are they really 12 points better off than Castleford at home from a standing start? Possible, but Cas had already shown - prior to McGuire's departure - that they can play. Which makes me a little wary of backing a big Warrington win here.

There were only 10 points between the teams when they last met at Warrington in May. I may live to regret this one but I feel like the Tigers have half a chance of keeping it close.

George Williams anytime tryscorer @ 5/4

We went with Warrington's talisman to score a try in 80 minutes last week, and George Williams did not let us down in France with an early try to return at 7/4.

Josh Thewlis has scored tries in each of his three matches against Cas - and was the go-to player for the Wolves last week in Perpignan too.

But the value is with Williams to guide Warrington home.
