Castleford Tigers vs Huddersfield Giants Odds
Cas are 8/15 at Betfred to earn their fifth win of the season, while the Giants are 8/5 to land their third. The draw is available to back at 18/1.
Adam Swift and Innes Senior head the tryscorer markets at 6/1 to score the first of the game and 10/11 to cross anytime.
Team News
Tigers head coach Danny McGuire has plenty to ponder given he is now under investigation by the RFL over comments he made about refereeing standards following their controversial defeat to Wigan, but he does at least have consistency in squad selection.
McGuire names an unchanged 21-man squad which includes Liam Horne despite the player's own disciplinary hearing.
Fletcher Rooney was named last week but didn't feature, so should have a chance this weekend, while Innes Senior is named despite an ankle injury keeping him out last week.
The Giants have winger Adam Swift and prop Oliver Wilson back after injury which is a huge double boost for boss Luke Robinson.
Their returns are the only two changes, with Connor Carr and Aidan McGowan the men to make way.
Castleford to win by 1-12 points @ 2/1
The first game of the weekend also feels like the most difficult one to call.
I had Huddersfield to record a rare win in the south of France against an out-of-sorts Catalans team last week but the Giants simply didn't turn up and were well beaten. I also had Castleford to be well beaten at home by Wigan and in truth they will feel they should have won the game, before Liam Farrell's late clincher for the champions.
So both sides will have been absolutely stinging when they returned to training this week and I am expecting a ferocious contest. The handicap favours Castleford by a converted try and I feel that is just about right.
Huddersfield playing like they did against Wigan and Warrington before that shambles in Perpignan last week would have made them favourites to win this one in my eyes. But if we go off last weekend's performances in isolation then I have to side with Danny McGuire's Tigers here.
This one genuinely could swing either way, and my instinct is either to stick with Castleford on the handicap, or gain a little extra value by backing them to win by under 12 points.

Louis Senior - Anytime Tryscorer @ 5/4
Castleford's main attacking weapons are the Senior brothers Innes and Louis, two big wingers who came through the Huddersfield academy and will be fired up therefore for the visit of their former club.
Innes missed the Wigan game last week after suffering an ankle injury in training, and Will Tate took his chance with two tries against the champions on his return.
I fancy all three of them in this game, and given the injury doubt over Innes I'm going to go for his brother to run in a score.
