Grade Open Race Stayers (660m)

Won well when stepped up in trip last week and enters the final tonight with a perfect make-up to go clear round the first two bends.

Trap 6 would be a danger if fully wound up but I feel we have more to offer over this trip.

How I see this race going - not much early pace in this race and we didn’t really come away last week. We got held up but still cleared away for an impressive win, I do see us getting to the lead sooner this evening and we can stretch on for a nice win.

19:22 Monmore - Pavillion Team (T5) @ SP

Grade open race sprint (264m)

Unbeaten since coming over from Ireland and has savage early pace and trapping ability which is key for a sprinter. Track debut in a race tonight, first look trial was quick so expect us to come on for that.

How this race should go - we can hit the lids and power clear on the run up, turn in front and then just stretch further clear. This won’t be the biggest price but stands out to me as one of the best bets of the day.

20:13 Monmore - Kilmore Dancer (T1) @ SP

Grade open (480m)

So much trouble recently and has been denied a clear run the last few races. Better draw tonight and up against a poor field.

How I see this race going - trap 2 is more known as a middle seed and will edge right as the lids open, while trap 3 is better known as a stayer in Ireland and should be outpaced early.

I feel we will take the rails and turn handy before powering clear down the back and registering our first victory on these shores. A max bet for me on tonight’s make up.
