Nottingham’s the place to be on Monday night

Our greyhound expert Trap2Line has come up with a couple at Nottingham tonight he feels are worthy of the closest inspection. Over to Colwick  Park we go then, for our Monday, December 30 selections.

T2 (Swift Kipper) 20:19 Nottingham

Second run tonight after a troubled debut, was stopped in her tracks at the first bend, but did show some promise in the amount of ground she made up. Has a really good make up in tonight's race.

How I see this race panning out - T1 is notoriously slowly away so that gives us every opportunity to lead up the inner and claim the rails at the first bend. T3 has his debut tonight and from what I've viewed and witnessed in trials seems to edge off out of the traps, so on form we should lead the inner and go on to record our maiden victory.

T4 (Seaside Maisie) 20:01 Nottingham

Again we are having our second run, very good debut in the fact that we overcame pretty significant crowding second bend to open up and go clear down the back, but just got a bit tired on the run-in and run out of it close home.

Should come on for that spin, be stronger tonight, and this race looks perfect.

How I see this race going - we have the early pace to lead tonight, and what I did notice on debut is that we weren't that quickly away but showed really good general early pace.

Looking at tonight's field they all have similar splits in regards to trapping and hitting the line first time. I feel we can break level but pace up and clear the field at the first bend, use our middle pace to go clear, then stay on better than last week to record our maiden victory.
