Friday Greyhounds Tips: Two selections from Trap2Line

Our resident greyhounds tipster, Trap2Line sees in the weekend with a further two selections on Friday, which come from Romford and Sunderland.

T1 (Innfield Fifi) 21:28 Romford @ SP

This race revolves around how fit T4 is after returning from a long spell on the sidelines. What we have, though, is full fitness and really good recent form and will appreciate this step up to eight bends after doing lots of running late over six bends, and quickly going clear after the line and to the pick up and we will gain first run on T4 so I'm confident we can catch that runner cold and record the win.

T6 has been in poor form recently and will go off the outsider in this and saves all her best form for other tracks. T5 could be dangerous if getting a clear uncontested lead but jury is still out if he runs this track as well as Hove.

T4 will be heading for the rails and could be tailed off early and will probably need a crowded race to be able to come through on first start since September. T3 has been holding form well over this trip and if popping out could cause a surprise. T2 a little bit off these form wise and  could struggle as drawn, and then there is us, good draw on rails better than last time here when we drew.

T4, good recent run at Towcester against some fast dogs. I expect a strong running performance this evening and I see us turning closer to the pace than normal. My eye will be drawn to where T4 is on the second lap. I don't want to have to come from behind that runner but form suggests we will be ahead. Confident pick.

T1 (Sunnyside Broxi) 21:32 Sunderland @ SP

We step back up this evening from four bends to six. Our only run over this distance we impressively landed a maiden event at Newcastle in a quick time. Recently we landed a good strong four-bend open at Sheffield leading at third bend and pulling clear after.

Great draw on the rails this evening, only slight concern is we have never been here before but looking at form we tend to run new tracks well so I will overlooking this, it won't be way tonight as there are some strong runners with good form

Key to our race lies with us leading T2 on the run up so we are able to go round in front of level with T3. That runner has a similar running style to us, being a four-bend runner stepping up in trip, but he is normally drawn wider out and will be edging off a true line at the bed NR.

I personally can see us leading up and making all, T2 would be dangerous if getting out in front but seemed to lack middle pace last run and was swallowed up at the third bend. I do see an impressive victory on the cards for our selection.
