4 pts Ludvig Aberg Top Nordic @ 6/4

To begin, I’m taking Ludvig Aberg to be the leading Nordic player in Georgia. He’s looked back to his best in recent starts and, boasting a far superior record at Augusta to every other player in this market, he’s clearly the one to beat.

Ludvig made a forgettable start to the season, but it hasn’t taken him long to get up to speed. Since finishing 20th at the Genesis Invitational, he’s reeled off three consecutive top-five finishes: 3rd at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, 5th at THE PLAYERS Championship, and 5th in Texas last week provided ideal preparation.

He’s been the seventh-best player in the entire field over that run and gaining strokes throughout the bag, he’s primed for another strong Masters showing, adding to his finishes of 2nd on debut in 2024 and 7th last year.

Those two performances saw him come out on top in this market by nine shots over Nicolai Hojgaard two years ago. He then followed that by finishing four shots in front of the next-best Nordic player, Viktor Hovland, in 2025. Currently performing better than both, there’s no reason to expect them to turn that form around with the Swede.

With the rest of the market including the returning Alex Noren and Rasmus Hojgaard – who have a best of 32nd between them – and three debutants (Sami Valimaki, Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen and Kristoffer Reitan), Aberg is well worth backing to better his regional counterparts for the third year in a row.

2 pts Jacob Bridgeman Top Debutant @ 13/2

The Top Debutant market is a typically exciting one and includes several players who could well hit the frame here in the future. Chris Gotterup’s winning form and power-packed game makes him a worthy favourite, whilst the similarly lengthy Marco Penge is finally starting to settle in at PGA Tour level. However, it’s second favourite Jacob Bridgeman who I think could just set the standard among the newcomers.

Hitting the top 20 in each of his eight appearances, Bridgeman is playing exceptionally well in 2026. He earned that hugely impressive breakthrough win at the Genesis Invitational – where he led by an incredible six shots entering the final round – and he has maintained form since, finishing 5th at THE PLAYERS Championship two starts ago.

In statistical terms, this places him among the five strongest-performing players in 2026, ranking 4th in SG: Total. Whilst he’s been all about the short game since stepping up to this top-tier – and is again thriving on the greens this year, ranking 1st in SG: Putting – it’s the gains he’s made with the long game that is truly driving his progress.

Having ranked 124th in SG: Approach and 141st in GIR in 2025, the American now sits inside the top 25 in each area. Alongside that, he’s climbed from 126th in SG: OTT last year to 51st in 2026, and as well as becoming more accurate, he’s also hitting it further, rising from 95th to 60th in driving distance.

Born, raised, and residing in neighbouring South Carolina, Bridgeman played plenty of golf in and around this area during his amateur career. This comfort factor is another plus, and with a much improved (and more powerful) long game now complementing his stellar short game, he’s well placed to be the top rookie this week.
